Head to the cave.

You say your goodbyes and begin moving towards the cave entrance in the distance--nestled between the hills on this side of the woods. You see no signs of danger, but your nerves make you feel nauseous. It's hard to be confident when you have little to no idea what awaits you inside. Your only solace is that not only is your party here with you, but Rabbit's Foot is a higher level than anyone here. That being said, your party causes as many problems as it solves, and RF's powers are unpredictable.

"So what exactly is the plan?" Eva asks. "When we find this high succubus, I mean."

"We'll subdue and apprehend her I suppose, if she is willing, but I doubt she will be. She's a demon, and is working for someone even more dangerous. We'll likely have to dispose of her entirely," RF replies.

She has a point. There are monsters in this world that are just monsters, but then there's people like Linzeri. She doesn't seem evil. But if she tries to kill us, we'll have little choice.

You soon arrive at the gaping entrance into the hillside. It's completely pitch black.

"Let me hold the torch, Niki," Eva says. "I only need one hand for my wand, and I might need the protection. It'll be hard to cast if those gremlins come at me again, and if they get me, they'll cut off all my..."

"No problem," Niki says and hands her a torch from her pack, and proceeds to light the tip. "Let's get moving."

"I will stay near you," Amara says and huddles up beside the bunnyfolk.

Rabbit's Foot twirls her quarterstaff in practice. "I'll take the right flank, you take the left, Kyle. Niki, you want to take the front?"

"Hell yeah I do," Niki responds.

Your party enters and begins their way through. It's definitely a natural cave, so it's hard to tell whether or not these people are squatting here temporarily or not.

The feeling of eyes looming over you causes a shiver through your spine. It's warranted, as when you look up, you see the shimmer of several white gazes, like a ceiling covered in bats. Tiny wrinkled creatures with razor-sharp claws and teeth leap into action. Niki deflects them with her buckler, you slice one straight out of the air, and RF pivots and spins her staff into multiple, crushing them into the wall and ground. Meanwhile, Amara and Eva hide themselves in between.

"It's hard to see these damned things!" Niki shouts.

"Let's move while we fight. There's gotta be a better place up ahead!" you suggest, and the party begins hustling onwards.
