Head home

You all head back to your house. Jessie and Alex cuddling in the back seat, Maggie holding onto your arm as you drive, looking up at you like she can’t believe you are real. Getting back to your house you all laughingly come in and your mother is sitting up waiting for you.

“And where have you kids been?” Alex blushes deep and starts talking before you have a chance to think “Um... we were on a date with Jessie and Maggie?” he doesn’t sound confident but gestures to the girls.

“I haven’t met these two before. Are you my boy’s girlfriend?” Maggie blushes deeply and looks down looking like she may burst into flames as she curls in on herself peaking up at you looking like she is trying to speak but just makes a little croaking noise.

You sigh “Yes mother, we have only had this one date but as far as I am concerned we are going out until she says otherwise” Both women look shocked at that announcement both “But...” they look at each other and you grab Maggie by her mop of wild hair and pull her in to a hug “Hey, calm down” she shivers in your arms wrapping around you tightly and you look up at your mother “I really like her, is it ok if the girls stay over tonight?”

Suzy looks shocked but nods “Yeah... Hey Donny?” you nod “I think she is good for you, I haven’t seen you this happy in a while.” you smile, Maggie smiles up at you, Alex and Jessie look at each other and shrug just following you two.
