Head back to the garage.

The text from Sarah was nice and reminded you of why you stayed home this weekend while they went to the lake. You decide you should get your work done so next time you can go with them. You turn the music back up and get to work.

Before you know it, another couple hours have passed but the garage looks much better. You look at your watch and realize it’s getting close to dinner time. You don’t want to miss your dinner date with Kat and Chris. Satisfied with your work, you head back inside to grab a quick shower and shave before you head over to their house.

After you get ready and before you head out, you call Sarah on FaceTime so you can see the kids. She answers and notices that you are dressed nicely and shaved. She jokes, “You look nice! Are you having your girlfriend over since we’re gone?” You laugh and respond, “Oh Sarah. You are so funny.” You proceed to explain that you ran into a new co-worker earlier and you were invited over to his house for dinner with Chris and his wife. You feel a slight bit of guilt but it’s not too far from the truth, you convince yourself.

You finish the call, say your good nights and head out to the car. Time to go visit you new friends.
