He woke up

Vas woke up, sweating, and ran his finders through his hair to get rid of some of the sweat. Vas was a villager with black hair and had tanned skin from working outside helping in the farms. As he woke he remembered what today was, it was finally the day he did the elder's trial on order to prove he could leave the village. Technically nothing was stopping him, but the elder wanted to make sure anyone who ever left was well prepared. So the trials became tradition.

Suddenly someone came crashing through his bedroom door. "WAKE THE FUCK UP!" is what he heard and he realizes who said that. It was his half orc friend Elia, she had been practicing for the trial for years now, both of them had gotten close after bonding about leaving the village years ago.
