He wanted !

It was a normal day. A day like any other. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping.

"Mom, I'm leaving" shouted John while taking his backpack.

"Okay honey, be careful as you cross the street" shouted Ashley back at him.

"Yes, don't worry" said John while rolling his eyes. Sometimes he thinks his mother is overprotective. He is 18 after all, he knows he needs to be careful when he crosses the street. She doesn't need to remind him every morning.

He thought so but then a smile sprouted on his face. If she reminds him every morning is because she loves him. It's true that she is a bit overprotective but its because she wants that nothing bad happens to him. She became like this after his father ****. She tried to remain strong for her son but his **** surely proved her.

John shook his head trying to not think about sad things, opened the front door and exited out. When he woke up he saw it was a nice day so he decided to not take the bus and instead to go to school on foot. The school wasn't far from his home so it shouldn't take too much but he soon regretted not having taken the bus. After roughly ten minutes, when he was near school, he encountered his worst enemy, David. Once they were good friends but then, when they started high school, everything changed. David began to pass time with bad people and to smoke and, in the second year, became a bully. At the beginning he continued to treat John normally, they didn't speak much but he was still good with him but then, one day, everything changed. He began to insult him, trying to pick up a fight in every way he could, and, when he saw they didn't have any effects, he began to beat him.

"Well well well, who we have here? It seems to be Jhonny boy. What are you doing here?" said David in a mocking tone as soon as he saw him.

"David, it's not a good day. It's better for you if you leave me alone" answered John with a menacing tone and then began to walk away. He wasn't in the mood to talk with him.

"But, Johnny boy, I only wanted to talk. Don't you want to talk with me? Aren't we good friends?" said David with a fake sad tone before passing again to a mocking one "Yeah, walk away. You are a coward, a little girl. Who taught you to move your ass that way? That bitch of your mother?"

Hearing David words John stopped immediately and then turned around with an angry look on his face "What have you said?".

At first David was taken aback by his sudden change but then smirked, knowing he had touched a sour spot "You heard well, I've said your mother is a bitch".

"Retreat it immediately otherways..." growled John menacingly while gripping his fist. He was truly angered this time. He can support when he insult him but not when he insult his mother.

"Otherways? What will you do? You will punch me? Oh c'mon Johnny boy, we both know you don't have the ball to do it" said David with a mocking tone.

"Are you sure? Well, you're wrong" said John before throwing a punch at him. David didn't expect him to really do it so he wasn't capable to defend himself and John hit him right in the face.

"Say it again and next time it won't be a simple punch" said John before walking away. He was a good boy but even he couldn't pardon someone who insulted his mother, the most important person of his life, like this.

Meanwhile David didn't move. He was immobile, incapable of processing what had happened. He didn't think John would really do it and this made him... angry. Anger that was fueled even more from the students who were watching him from afar and were whispering between themselves. He gritted his teeth and said "You have humiliated me! I will make you pay in the cruelest way" before running away.

Neither the boy running away nor the one walking away noted a shadow who was watching them from afar and said in a feminine, seductive one " Hihihihi this is really interesting" before disappearing into thin air.
