He tweaks and clarifies the idea slightly!

"How would altering her dreams help me get to know her better?" Byleth inquired, raising an eyebrow at Sothis.

"By sharing the dream with her, duh!" she stuck her tongue out at him slightly. "She can have a pleasant time, and a bit more to interact with you!"

"...I don't know..." Byleth mused. "It feels like we would be intruding a bit into her psyche, and I don't feel that she's ready for us to make a move anyway. Also, I would prefer if I got more of a read on Hubert before we started courting Edelgard in any way."

"Fine, then let's cut out the part about you entering her dreams," Sothis pouted, crossing her arms, and puffing out her cheeks. "We'll stick to just swapping out the nightmares for some wet dreams... I swear, sometimes you're just no fun..."

"It's called having a sense of restraint and patience," Byleth remarked. "There's no need to rush. I already have a relationship with you, Manuela, Dorothea, and Petra. And of course, you have plenty of other potential candidates to work on in the meanwhile. If I wanted to rush things, I would have just wished for any girl we took interest in to be enthralled from the start."

"Alright, alright, I get it," she sighed. "So, you gonna make the wish or not?" she asked him.

"Right, I wish Edelgard would have her nightmares replaced with sensual dreams... Ones within her own comfort zone. When she figures out she's lucid dreaming somehow, she should be able to experiment at her own pace," Byleth summed up.

"Done!" Sothis remarked, clicking her fingers, and they resumed their walk back to his bedchambers. "...hey, you might not want to intrude on Edelgard's dreams... But..." she grinned.

"...but?" he asked.

"Why not share dreams with those you're already involved with?" Sothis asked. "You could get more time with them, and hey, so long as some of the dream time is used for the fun stuff, you can make more lesson plans in them too!"

Byleth paused. That WAS an intriguing idea...
