He tries to get a taste of Gillian

When Kyall saw Gillian alone at the bar, he decided to it was time to strike. He walked over to her and took a seat next to Gillian, who looked at him with surprise.

"Oh. Hi Kyall." She said.

"Hey. Excited for the big day."

"Oh my god. Don't they make such a good couple?"

"They sure do. Say, I've got something to ask you."

"Yeah?"

"There's been a double booking and uh... My ex-wife and her husband are taking my room and uh... don't wanna hang around."

Gillian's face falls into sorrow. "Oh I'm so sorry to hear that Kyall. That's so unfair."

Kyall summoned the most sincere sigh he could. "Yeah it sucks but I know our rooms are right next to each other. Would you mind if I moved my stuff into your room."

"Of course. That's not a problem. Only one thing though."

"What's that?"

"You'll have to sleep on the couch. My boyfriend."

"Oh. I didn't realise you had a boyfriend."

"Yeah he doesn't like weddings. Thinks they're sappy." Gillian rolled her eyes.

"That's a shame."

"Yeah it really is."

"Surely it'd be worth going though, even just to spend time with you."

"Yeah. You don't think it's suspicious at all?"

Kyall raised his hands. "I don't wanna accuse him of anything, but I know if it was me I know I'd rather be here with you."

"Awww. That's so sweet."

Kyall shrugged as Gillian then leaned into his ear.

"Y'know, you seem much nicer than your ex-wife's new partner. Better looking too."

Gillian let out a giggle as Kyall said "Thank you."

"No problem."

"Would you mind if I move my things into your room?"

"Of course." Gillian handed him the keys to her room. "I'll probably be there in an hour or so. Don't wanna stay up too late before the big day."

"Of course not. See you there."

Kyall walked off with a smile on his face. Whilst Gillian seemed to initially reject his advances, he saw the cracks in her defences. If he made the right moves he might just be able to get what he wants.
