Did Q'rin share something more with Khala?
He told a more personal story this time.
Q’rin stroked his chin, ‘Hmmm, there was this one interesting event back then...’
‘Come on, out with it,’ Khala looked at him impatiently.
‘Don’t rush me, or I’ll not tell it at all,’ Q’rin huffed, ‘Now, this was… hmm, thirteen years ago, I think. My class had just come in from the sporting grounds ready to clean ourselves from sweat and muck.’ He chuckled, ‘Unbeknownst to us, Ariane had snuck in the changing room. Using one of her illusion spells, the little pervert made herself invisible and spied on all of us.’
Khala giggled, ‘Hmm, that does sound like something Ariane would do. These days she probably wouldn’t spy and just go in to ask for an orgy, though. So what happened next?’
Q’rin raised an eyebrow, ‘Would she now? Looks like she got a bit more adventurous. Back then she was a bit more reserved, but also very mischievous. After we had all changed and had a shower—which she probably watched too—Ariane started to cast more spells on us: Gilford suddenly got an erection, Marcus’ pants caught fire, my skin turned pale like a surface elf’s. It was pure chaos in there until the instructor came in and put an end to it.’
Khala giggled, ‘You? All pink and rosy? How’d that work?’
‘It was an illusion spell, it can change the appearance of many things, or even make things appear from thin air but only to the eye. But yes. It was… humiliating to say the least,’ Q’rin chuckled.
‘It can make things appear from thin air, huh? Something like playing cards too?’ Khala asked curiously, as she realised what might have happened the evening before with her card game.
‘Yes, of course. What? Do you plan to ask Ariane to help you cheat at card games?’ Q’rin chuckled.
‘What? No, of course not,’ Khala shook her head, ‘Just something I was curious about. So, was Ariane punished for spying and causing havoc in the boys’ changing room?’ Khala wondered.
‘Yes, but the punishment was far too small if you ask me. She just had to copy the Codex Illuminara twice. It’s a thick book but still,’ Q’rin sighed.
Khala grinned, ‘So you’d say you still owe her some ****?’
‘Maybe, what are you thinking about?’ Q’rin smirked at her.
What devious plan had Khala hatched?
