He talks her into relaxing and watching television together.

Jed watched as Paula was hit by his words, and he felt guilty immediately. Scrambling to recover, he blurted out, "How about we just relax on the couch, watch some tv?" Whatever expression she'd had before fell away to a grin, and they quickly got situated on their sofa. Like usual, he say on one end while Paula laid her head on his shoulder, putting her weight on him. It was how they always relaxed together, but with her added weight it was a struggle for Jed not to let out a groan as she leaned on him.

He started browsing the different media apps while Paula closed her eyes. This was perfect, but before...she was really happy it seemed like Jed didn't realize exactly how she had reacted. He had read it as shock and sadness, but actually his words...they kind of turned her on even more. For some reason, him being grossed out by her made her want him even more, and there was even a part of her that felt like looking for another guy if he didn't want to be with her right now. But instead they were snuggling, which was wonderful. They were so snug, in fact, that the gold coin Paula was holding was also touching Jed's shoulder, just as he was hit by a wave of BO from Paula's transformed body. He really wished he was less bothered by that...
