Suddenly Jack realized that these were the pants from yesterday, he quickly reached down in his pocket and found two pills. Then he swallowed them and as he felt the change, he started to walk towards the two men.

Jack exhaled with relief, but then realized that he had just taken another two pills, which would just make the problem worse.
