He slowly remembers . . .

The water soothes Alex. His mind relaxes and the events of the previous night come back into focus. . .

It was still early into Friday night. Alex was still reeling from his long term girl Rena breaking up with him and on top of that he had just flunked a rather important test. The two events were not unrelated but the fact that he couldn't concentrate on anything recently only amplified his current depression. He missed her . . . He needed a drink.

Que Nathan to the rescue. He drags Alex out of their apartment and down to nearby Frat house Alpha Alpha Phi. The rager was exactly what Alex needed. He lost himself in the music and the free booze. Nathan even tried to set him up with a few freshman girls, but then he saw her. From across the room Alex spotted Rena, he immediately dropped everything moving though the crowed trying to reach her. He pushed and shoved, called our her name. It felt like a terrible dream.

Then it happened! He ran into a beautiful blond. Barreled straight into her knocking over both them to the ground. Alex apologize profusely, even bought her a nice drink. They started talking, she was clearly into him, and Alex felt a strange attraction to her as well. They ordered another drink together, then another, and another.
