He sets a snare for his stalker...

Realizing that his inability to see in the dark leaves him at a disadvantage, Dante decides not to challenge his pursuer in combat, but to instead lay a snare. Quickly digging through his inventory for the proper items, he prepares and sets a clever snare with nets and tanglefoot bags.

But just as he is making his final adjustments to the trap, he senses that his tail is nearly upon him. Ducking quickly behind a rock formation, he keeps his sword ready, just in case his surprise fails to immobilize his target.

This precaution proves unnecessary, for only seconds later, he hears the telltale sound of a trap being sprung, followed by a muffled - and distinctly feminine - gasp of surprise.
