How does the night end?
He returns to his apartment
The air in Evans' living room had grown thick, charged with the dust Magi had stirred up and the unspoken tension of her **** performance. Every movement had been calculated, every sigh from the old observer a reminder of her new and absurd prison. Finally, Evans, with a gesture of sated boredom, had said:
"That's enough for today. You may leave. We'll continue tomorrow." And he added, with a smile that wasn't meant to be kind, "Don't forget the uniform. You'll be needing it."
Magi didn't reply. She left the duster on a table, avoiding looking him in the eyes, and walked out of the apartment without looking back. The door of 3B closed behind her with a soft, definitive click.
The hallway to her own apartment seemed longer than ever. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, illuminating her ridiculous costume of black satin and lace. As she opened her front door, darkness and silence greeted her like a wall. She closed it and leaned against it, slowly sliding to the floor.
There, in the gloom of her hallway, the farce faded, and reality hit her with full ****.
The smell of dust from Evans' house still clung to her nose, mixed with the phantom scent of his vintage cologne. She felt the roughness of the fishnet stockings on her skin, the ridiculous cap still stuck in her hair. She took off the small piece of lace and threw it on the floor in disgust. But it was useless. She couldn't shake the feeling so easily.
A bitter, empty laugh escaped her lips. May. Alexander Vance. And now, Mr. Evans. Three jailers. Three types of humiliation.
May, with her explicit power, her calculated cruelty, and her new photographic archive of shame. Alexander Vance, with his absolute indifference, his power to reduce her to insignificance. And now Evans, the most unexpected, with his perverse loneliness, his meticulous fetish, and his control over the images of her vulnerability.
A sum of misfortunes. A trifecta of submission.
She didn't cry. Tears seemed like a luxury she couldn't afford, a response too simple for the pit she was in. Instead, a huge and silent void expanded inside her chest. It was the understanding that there was no bottom. That every time she thought she had hit the limit, a new level of degradation awaited her.
She got up from the floor, stripping off the maid costume with mechanical movements. Each garment that fell to the floor was a chapter of the night closing, but the feeling of dirtiness remained. She got into the shower, scrubbing her skin hard under the hot water, but it was like trying to wash away a stain that had been ingrained in her soul.
As she got out, wrapped in a rough towel, her gaze fell on the wrinkled uniform on the floor. Tomorrow she would have to put it on again. And the next day. And the next. Meanwhile, May would have new orders, new shows. And Alexander Vance would continue to exist, somewhere, without remembering her.
She looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. The eyes that looked back at her were empty. There was no longer indignation, or rage, or even fear. Only an infinite weariness and the crushing certainty that her life had become a series of acts of servitude for different masters, each with their own twisted rules.
The sum of her misfortunes was not a simple addition. It was an exponential multiplication of her powerlessness. And that night, for the first time, Magi felt that not even the void was a refuge. It was simply the space that was left after everything else had been stripped away.
What happened the next day?

Under the Surface
Chronicle of a Humiliation
Magi is a solitary and reserved young woman who prefers the company of books to people's company. With her untamable black hair, faint freckles, and loose-fitting clothes, she projects an image of practicality and comfort. Her large green eyes, though curious, avoid eye contact, revealing her introverted nature. Despite her serene appearance, a deep disquiet haunts her, anticipating an imminent and inevitable change that threatens to shatter the fragile balance of her quiet life.
