He passes out on the floor...

Adam tried to go get help. He tried to call out for someone.

But nobody came.

It was in those last few moments of clarity, Adam saw something move from the foot of the bed, passed his face.

It was his Dad's pet cobra. It had gotten loose last week...

Adam has just a few moments of clarity as his mind shuts down to reason out that the snake hid in warm parts of the house, like, for example, a persons bed in a maybe rather messy room, and that he had jostled the snake and scared it into biting when he laid down.

Now, Adam didnt know if snake venom made someone itch like this or not, but it definately seems like this particulare turn of evens has been brought on by a snake bite.

Never once, as he passes out, does he think about the possibility of what the Growth-X might have contributed to this outcome...
