He meets a Cobbler

Will came to the first shop he saw and entered. There was only a single man there and by the looks of the scene, must have been a cobbler. There were shoes everywhere and he had pair he was currently working on. He didn't notice Will enter so Will tried to get his attention. He tried his voice again but his vocal cords were still non functional from those blasted berries. He finally settled on pursing his lips together and whistling.

The man jumped at the sudden sound and his jaw dropped when he saw Will, or rather, the beautiful woman Will appeared to be. He somehow found a way to pick his tongue up off the floor and came over to Will.

"Hi, how can I help you?" he asked.

Will's pretty mouth opened but yet again, nothing came out. The man looked confused so Will tapped his throat.

"...You can't speak?" he asked, unsure.

Will nodded and gave the man a smile that quickened the man's heart. Will did a pantomime of writing and the man understood and grabbed a quill and parchment. Will quickly wrote out what happened and handed the page back to the man. The man studied it for some time, but didn't react. He looked up at Will who was looking back expectantly.

"...I uh...I can't read," he said apologetically.

Will slapped his forehead and turned trying to think.

The man got a better look at Will and his back looked just as lovely as his front. That is when he noticed Will's boots. There most have been a time when they were shiny and new but that day was long ago. It was curious to the man to see a woman of such elegance and beauty wearing such a thing. Maybe he could help her out?
