David was tempted to just go and give this kidnapper a piece of his mind, but it is also his mind that gave him pause. The smile and the look of sympathy behind his eyes suggests that it isn’t the way the guy would have liked to meet but it had to happen like this. This combined with the badge of the same man he saw said ‘PDA’ for ‘Parallel Defense Agency’ suggested that this man may be an agent for a secret agency. But it could still be a ruse, using fake badges and a cunning man to lull him into a false sense of security so they could get damning information on his clients. But he wanted to hear them out.

He nodded his head, indicating he wished the man to continue. The man smiled back before beginning to speak “First off, I am sorry about the way we had to take you. We couldn’t be sure you would come willing here which is the only place we can discuss what I am about to offer you. Best to act first and ask for forgiveness later huh? Well anyways, let us start off properly. I am PDA Special Agent in Charge Tim Ordson, we are a top-secret agency that is fully dedicated to the exploration of other parallel universes. “He pauses for a second, to allow you to think on he said before continuing.

“Around 50 years back, we discovered a device that operates like a portal. It is definitely alien in nature, but it seems like they left it here, for what purpose, we don’t know. It is very large, able to send in a tank if we wanted to and in a square shape with alien symbols on all four sizes. We have recently been able to access a new load of coordinates to parallel universes stored in the system. There are thousands of universes in these set of coordinates alone, so we have been recruiting people like you to help explore them. People who are handsome, smart, cunning, sexually active and have huge genitals or assets to help us. This is because the first ten we scouted out, seemed to only change from our world sexually, for example, one of them had blowjobs as a greeting, another had mandatory milking sessions for all hung men. With that, Agent Tim stops talking and allows David’s mind to shift through the massive inflow of information going through his brain. He wanted to say yes immediately but realized that if he took this, he would most likely have to give up his old life. He had to make sure.

“Sir, what would happen if I said yes or no?”

“Well David, if you said yes. I would show you our operations center, the portal itself, how to start your missions and get you trained to be on your guard in these other universes. You would get some job perks, but you would lose your old life. This is fully demanding job where you live and sleep on-site when not sleeping in one of the parallel worlds. You would disappear from the world from the view of your family, friends and clients. It is a tough decision, but you must make it in here.

If you say no, we will use a piece of tech acquired from another set of universes discovered years ago, it can wipe out the last day of your memory but can be finetuned to remove only hours of memory. You would wake up at home, never remembering our encounter or anything about us. You understand it is to protect the security of the agency, its agents plus their family and the portal.”

David nods his understanding, forming a couple of more questions before he will decide.

“Will my family and friends be kept safe if anything should ever happen to me? And would I be able to choose the worlds I can visit?”

Agent Tim answers with “if anything bad happen to you, you have my personal word that we would have agents looking over your family and friends, your family would be given a very generous amount of money as well to help them cope after your loss.

You would be able to choose the worlds you want to enter, but some will be restricted to you if we learn of that universe from another PDA: SCU Agent. SCU will be the Sexual Changes Unit. It means you are focusing entirely on universes that have changed currently due to a sexual reason, there are other branches for economy, military etc. That would be restricted probably as something about us would be considered a crime or severely offensive. Maybe just men aren’t allowed to be free on one world for example. Now have you come to a decision?”

David thinks on it, his family and friends will be safe. He can even choose the worlds he could visit. At first, it would be random, but he may re-visit a world he liked at one point. So, he says “I have. I thought about it, and I am in. I love my current life but at times I feel so restless and bore with just talking about problems all day long. This allows me to do some good for the government but also allow me to be in a more active job. So, I would love it!

“Great!” whoops Agent Tim who shakes your hand and mentions it is time for David to see the center he will be operating out from.
