He had time as he walked back

Jaune was walking back. Obviously going to be late. Which gave him time to at least BEGIN to get revenge on Cardin.

He could tell what type of guy he was simply by looking at him. He knew something to get under his skin, even if he'd never know it came directly from Jaune.

Jaune pulled out his scroll and checked the class roster, getting the names of Cardin's team, then going to work.

"Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark will become incredibly attracted to Cardin Winchester. They will all obnoxiously try to win his affections, barely allowing him to have time to himself."

Jaune nodded to himself, content with his petty revenge for now, as he began making his way back to class.

Eventually he busted down the door, breathing heavily. Everyone in class turned to see him.

"Mr. Arc." Glynda said sternly, clearly annoyed with his tardiness

"I'm sorry. I got stuck in a locker and then pushed a button and it shot off and..." he gasped...

"Should have given myself infinite stamina" he cursed in his head.

"Please take a seat. We will discuss your flagrant abuse of attendance policy later" she scolded, before immediately returning to her lesson.

He plopped down in his seat next to Yang

"What happened?" she whispered

"Cardin stuffed me into a locker."

He could see something immediately snap in Yang. He instantly grabbed her hand, which calmed her

"I handled it. Look" he said, gesturing towards him. Seeing notes from his team coming from all directions.

Class afterwards went on without a hitch for the most part...
