He gives her his power

Bessie (or Elizabeth, if she was in trouble) had turned 18 only a few weeks prior to John receiving his power. She was a short girl, only 4'9, and could compensate in many other areas. Her chest was flat as a board, and her ass only had the tiniest sliver of fat, just enough to give her an unnatractive, frumpy look. Her jaw was too squarish, her limbs too awkward and angular, her hair an unremarkable mousy brown that fell to her shoulders. Her eyes were the only extraordinary thing about her - two piercing green orbs that could cut through your soul like a hot knife through butter. But, unfortunately, people didn't like their souls being stripped back for her to see, so it only became another facet of her 'ugliness'.

John had often heard her crying in her room, late at night, wishing for some kind of miracle. That the bitches at school wouldn't be quite so mean, that she'd finally get a boy to like her, that society's beauty standard would somehow shift overnight. Yet, every time he'd tried to help, all she'd said was 'It's fine' in a forlorn tone.

It was clear that she wouldn't accept help from anyone else. Either she faced and solved her problem (which, judging by the times John had seen her come home decorated in bruises, was unlikely) or she put up with the constant bullying. So, instead of fulfilling his fantasies and possibly adding to her list of bullies, John made the decision.

I wish that this power is transferred entirely to my little sister, Elizabeth, John thought. She will understand how to use it, and no one around her will notice her using it unless specified by her. And just for good measure, he added, I will not remember any of this once the transfer is complete.

He took a deep breath. I hope one day she'll fulfill my fantasy out of her own volition, he wished, and then he clicked his fingers.

The world went dark.
