He first writes something to test if the Note affects Coco.

On his way there, a thought occured to Jaune: that he should give Coco a test to see if she was under the Note's influence. So he quickly took the Note and wrote, "Coco Adel will exit the bathroom after drying off without putting any clothes on or even wearing the towel. She will pay no mind to being naked in front of Jaune Arc and Velvet Scarlatina."

There. If she came out unclothed, then there would be no risk of losing any teeth for using the accessories triggers on her... If she was wearing clothes, she wouldn't even know he tried anything, and he could avoid her. At least, he hoped she wouldn't know, it occured to him that someone immune might be aware it was attempted on them. But then he brushed it off, if that were the case, Coco would have likely come after him after the first time he wrote about her if she was one of the immune ones. So either she was immune, but didn't know about it, or she wasn't immune...

"What was that about Master?" Velvet asked, raising an eyebrow.

"A little test," Jaune replied.

"Testing what exactly?"

"If the Note works on Coco."

This confused Velvet. "Um... Why wouldn't it? It's worked on everyone else you have tried it on, I can vouch for that..."

"Ria told me that for some reason, some people would have immunity to the Note... Which means I have to be careful about who I use it on," Jaune replied.

"...oh," Velvet replied.

Coco exited the shower, and Jaune mentally cheered as they saw she was still naked. "Oh, you must be Jaune. Velvet told me about you kicking Cardin's ass for her," she remarked, crossing her arms under her boobs. "Funny, you don't look up to that, but I guess appearances are deceiving," she teased.

"I get that a lot," Jaune replied.

"Still, some thanks are in order," she said. "Any friend of Velvet's is a friend of mine, assuming we can put up with each other of course."

Jaune laughed, and fumbled with the bag of makeshift accessories.
