He doesn't

Jake walked over to the laundry room, but it was empty. Jake still heard some slight moaning, so he continued his search. He came upon his daughter, Kristi's room. He couldn't tell if the moans were coming from her room. Jake lightly knocked on Kristi's door, not wanting to interrupt her if she was masturbating.

"Kristi." Jake said, fairly quietly as he slowly opened her door. Once the door was fully open, he could see the entirety of the bedroom. At her desk, Kristi sat with headphones on. She was completely enamored with what was on the screen. Jake was scared to see what it was, but he crept further into the room anyway.

"Kristi." he said again, to no answer. Jake could now see the computer. Kristi was clearly just doing some homework and listening to music. Nothing scandalous was happening. This was a relief to Jake, but it opened up more questions. Jake retreated out the door, and slowly closed it behind him.

Jake now walked over to his son, Thomas's room. Again, the faint sound of moaning was coming from somewhere. Jake did the same as he did with Kristi. He knocked quietly on the door, said Tom's name and slowly opened the door. Jake could hear whispering and scrambling behind the door. Having given Tom enough time to stop doing anything he didn't want his dad to witness, Jake fully opened the door.

Tom was sitting on his bed without a shirt on. He was abnormally sweaty for any solo activities that could be done in a bedroom. Tom was shirtless and he had blankets pulled over his lower half. Jake noticed a bra laying under Tom's bed. Obviously Tom has or had a girl in here not too long ago, and he didn't want his dad to know. Jake tried no to embarrass Tom.

"Hey Tom. Have you seen your mother around?" Jake asked.

"What? No. Why would she be in here? That's crazy. No, I haven't seen her." Tom says rapidly, obviously hiding something.

Jake gives Tom a quizzical look. "Are you sure? I swear I heard her up here earlier."

"Yeah. I haven't seen her at all. Especially not in here. I've been, umm, studying. Haven't seen anybody." Tom replies, still trying to hide something.

"Studying without a shirt? And with no books in sight?" Jake asks, giving Tom a little grief for obviously lying.

Tom gives a slight embarrassed smile while his cheeks go red. He doesn't respond.

"Okay, if you see your mother, let her know I'm looking for her." Jake says, before closing the door. Jake stood outside the door briefly and placed his ear to the door, trying to hear if Jake had some girl in his room.

"That was close" Jake heard Tom say.

"Too close" a second, older female voice replied.
