Link was packing his bedroll when John came back from gathering water for their journey.

"So, why is the third son of king Shepard is venturing in the most dangerous part of the world?" He asked while putting his pack on his back and securing it.

" Long story, a story I'm not very eager to share I'm afraid..." John said while handing over a gourd to the elf.

" Well, I'm here because of my sister." Link said with a small smile.

"Oh, so you're looking for her? I don't mind helping you, it's not like I need to get to the forest quickly or anything. Surely she wouldn't go for the forest, maybe we should split up and search both west and east?" John said already planning the rescue until the little elf burst into laughter.

"Hahaha ... there is no need for that, my sister is safe back in Arminstad. I'm here because she decided I was a threat to her inheritance, she managed to get my parents to throw me out." The elf seemed way too casual about being thrown out.

" You don't look all too bothered by all this?" John said while adjusting his strides with the elf pace toward the great forest.

" Well, to be honest, I never really cared much about my family obsession with herbs and plants. The business been in the family for generation and doing anything else always was taboo, I'm more interested in animals and when I understood my sister little scheme I ... well, I just decided that if she didn't want me around what was the point in staying, you know." Explained the mage.

Link also realized that his new companion was deliberately keeping short strides to match his pace. Link found that the third son of king Dante was not only easy going but also considerate and uncaring about etiquette or any sort of formality. What was puzzling to him was this aura that seemed to ooze out of the prince, elfin had a word for people who had this kind of charisma.

Ara`deis, roughly translated it means, divine touch or touched by divinity. Elfins believed that once in a lifetime you could find someone destined to lead peoples into a new era, they were exuding an aura that was almost visible and palpable. Link wasn't sure if John was one of those legendary tells but the elf felt compelled to find out.

Eliana had been looking for Jane for some time with no luck when she saw the chief servant giving instruction to a young maid.

" Ah, Siha! Maybe you can help me, I'm looking for my dearest daughter, have you seen Jane lately?" Asked the queen starting to worry about her daughter. Jane had surely heard about her brother and Eliana didn't like the idea of her daughter dealing with this alone.

" No, my lady, she heading to the training room but this was hours ago." Answered the servant while hushing the amid away.

" Well, it's better than nothing, thank you, dear." Said the queen quickly redirecting toward the training area.

' That bullhead must be training her rage away' Eliana thought it was just like Jane to work her frustration on a target dummy.

When she reached the training room Jane preferred the queen was unsettled by what she found. The room was a mess, everything was broken and what wasn't wouldn't last in this state long if Jane action was anything to go by.

" Jane stop!" Urged Eliana when she saw her daughter's blood dripping on the floor from her damaged hands. Jane didn't seem to have heard her because she just continued to hammer at the dummy grunting and panting from the exhaustion. Eliana immediately hugged her daughter from the back and tried to calm her down, whispering to her that everything would be fine.

After some time Jane had calm down but Eliana knew something was wrong and her worry was confirmed whit her daughter parting words before heading to the shower.

" I won't forgive him, he lied to me." Said the young maiden in a dejected tone before leaving.
