Jaune wanted to trust her. She had never really given him a reason not to.

She gave him the book, explained how to use it. Even saved him from Glynda before he had enslaved her. Sure, she could be a bit of a pest. But she had never done anything against him. And she seemed annoyed by this situation as much as, or maybe more than him.

But there was something nagging at him.

"Hang on." He began "Two questions: First, you have your own book, right? Why can't you just make him your toy on your own? Why am I required to do it?" He asked.

"And second... How exactly would this help? You can't give me the information. So if he told you, you wouldn't be able to give it to me. And if you had him tell me, that makes a link from you to me that he would know. And we can't just make him cool with it like I did Ren, since I'm restricted to only direct sexual options."

Ria scrunched her face. He couldn't tell what she was thinking, but he was worried he had upset her. She could probably sense his distrust in his questions.
