He collects the information

"Well, Mr. Watts," he says with calm authority. "Did you happen to check this student's age when you looked at her ID?"

"Yes Sir, it's Noelle Dupont, and she's 18 years old." He jots down the information on a sheet of lined paper before speaking again.

"I'm as new to the Pink Rose as you are Brian, but as far as I can tell, no laws have been broken, and while this is not something we'd like to see, I guess it's bound to happen occasionally. I'll try and reach out to this student as soon as I get a chance, and see if this was a one time fling or a more serious problem."

"Thanks, Dean Hawkfeather."

"I imagine Ms. Naylor gave you the talk about not getting involved with these students?" He asks with a wry smile, and some of your nervousness returns, then dissipates as he adds. "Yeah, me too, although I think it's going to be much tougher for you than for an old grunt like me. My guess is that you'll have some pretty brazen offers within the first couple weeks of school. Let me know if the students get out of hand, if we can set the tone early, it should get better."
