"W-well I guess it is my turn huh? So here's the deal. The job is 300k in total and you will get the first half when you arrive at the meeting place in two days. The other half will be given to you after you finish your job." Garnon explained.

"300k? I'm also guessing you gave each bodyguard the same offer huh? That's nearly two million in money!" Takeshi said with shock.

"Heh. To be honest I don't expect all of you to survive but if you do your client can more then pay you all." Garnon assured.

"...There isn't even a choice. I'm in. Besides Simon is being held in the capital. I would love to meet him!" Takeshi agreed to the offer.

"Alright! Let us drink to this fine agreement!" Garnon exclaimed as he ordered two mugs of alchol.

Meanwhile...

A bright warm day was transitioning into the cold night in the capital of Audasia, Shuto. Dozens of miles off Shuto was a lone island with one building, the Shuto Prison. Within this prison resides only the most dangerous criminals.

Today someone has come to visit one.

A door opened to shine light upon this prisoner, only barely cathing him. A voice called out, a feminine one, "Simon?"

"Simon come out from the dark." The voice requested.

"You shouldn't be here." Simon said in response.

"Visiting hours aren't over yet Simon. Besides i'm your attorney, just come out of the shadows Simon." The voice ordered again.

This time Simon sighed as he stood up and walked right in front of the bars. A full grown bird landed on his shoulder. Once he was there he said, "Happy?"

"Hey Taka." The woman said hello to the bird. "So Simon... You gonna accept my help?" The woman asked.

"Hmph. You know my day is coming soon? Is this why you so insisentce? The answer is still no." Simon refused.

"Why do you not accept it? Your sister has been begging the minister of justice for a retrial since you've been jailed and this year even more so! I don't think Takeshi even knows!" The woman asked frantically.

"He doesn't, i'll make sure to tell him when he next visits." Simon said nonchanantly.

"He is on his way. Apparently he just got a job to bodyguard someond coming here and thought it will be a fine time to visit." The woman explained. "Why are you so admant of refusing my help?" The woman asked.

"Heh. It is none of your business Cykes-dono!" Simon exclaimed.

"That was my mother who was killed seven years ago! I know darn well it wasn't you who did it! I drserve to know Simon!" Ms. Cykes explained.

"Hmph. I don't deserve your trust Cykes-dono. I'm just a murderer." Simon said softly.

"Simon... W-why? Why do you lie when I can hear your heart cry in sadness?" Ms. Cykes asked.

Simon didn't answer and Ms. Cykes was told visiting time was over. She and Simon both said goodbye to each other.
