Matt suspected that every teenage boy dreams of being a gigolo. I mean, imagine getting paid to have sex. That would be sort of like being paid to eat chocolate only better. So yeah, he wasn't going to turn down Eliza's offer. On the other hand, he had to worry about Amy. How was she going to feel when she learned that her boyfriend was bought and paid for? Obviously this would require careful handling. Equally obviously, Matt was a teenage boy, a class of character not known for subtlety or sensitivity. Shit!

"Of course I'll be Amy's friend," Matt said. "And yes, the hundred a week would be a huge help in terms of being able to do things with her. But there are some conditions."

"Oh, I'm so happy, Matt. Amy is going to be thrilled. You have no idea what it is like being parent of a girl who's so troubled and has such a hard time making friends."
