Chapter 10
by pablosrules
What's next?
Having dinner and making plans.
[current rules]
- THE APP „ABSOLUTE RULES“ ALWAYS SHOWS INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT.
- WHENEVER AN ABSOLUTE RULE TAKES EFFECT, A GREEN LIGHT FLASHES AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE SCREEN.
- APP CREATOR AILEEN IS ALLOWED TO FELLATE A HUMAN PENIS.
- APP CREATOR AILEEN IS ALWAYS VISIBLY SHOWN ON THE APP „ABSOLUTE RULES“.
- APP CREATOR AILEEN IS ABLE TO TALK LIKE A HUMAN BEING THAT IS SIMILAR TO APP USER ROBERT LAURENT.
- HUMANS EXPERIENCE NO SHAME RELATED TO THEIR STATE OF DRESS WHEN THEY ARE IN OR NEAR WATER.
Rob sits in silence for a few moments, interrupted only by the realisation that he's grinning to himself like an idiot.
He shakes his head and stands up. He cleans up the living room quickly and opens a window. He then goes and grabs a fresh shirt from his room, tossing the one soiled by cum and spit into the laundry basket. When he exits his room he hears Aileen turning on the shower. Knowing that she's probably going to take a while, he goes to the kitchen and starts making dinner. He's sort of exhausted, so he decides on some simple pasta with some leftover selfmade tomato sauce.
As the water is heating up he almost absent mindedly looks at his phone. It's not even unlocked right now and yet he can't really look away. His mind tries to unravel and comprehend the amount of power packed into that small black box in his hand. He shakes his head , sits down at the kitchen table and opens the app.
Staring at the rules, he tries to think about what else he could do to make sure he was using the rules in the best way possible.
What if there was some sort of rating system that would tell him how far the consequences of his rules would reach?
That way he would at least have some idea what he was getting into.
When Aileen enters the kitchen in a fresh pair of Rob's shorts and one of his old oversized shirts, Rob is deep in thought over a piece of paper on the table. The water is violently boiling on the stove at this point, completely ignored by Rob.
"Watcha doing roomie?" Aileen asks with a chipper tone, plopping on the chair across from him.
Rob looks up with a proud smile. "I think I had a good idea about the rules for once, look!" He slides the piece of paper over to Aileen.
On the paper, Rob has written a short bullet point list:
Severity Classes (SC)
- SC-A: Rule only affects the App itself and the device it is saved on.
- SC-B: Rule only affects the behavioral patterns of up to 10 humans.
- SC-C: Rule only affects the behavioral pattern of up to 100 humans.
- SC-D: Rule affects the behavioral pattern of an entire human culture or society.
- SC-E: Rule affects the behavioral pattern of multiple human cultures or societies.
- SC-F: Rule affects the behavioral pattern of all humans.
- SC-G: Rule affects the behaviour, biology and/or history of humans only.
- SC-H: Rule affects natural laws on planet earth, resulting in a stable natural balance.
- SC-I: Rule introduces changes that threaten the natural balance of planet earth as it currently exists.
- SC-J: Rule rewrites the laws of physics, resulting in a stable new reality.
- SC-K: Rule threatens the stability of the current laws of physics and balance in the observable universe.
- SC-L: Rule has incalculable results.
Rob looks at Aileen expectantly. "So? What do you think about it? I thought I could write a rule that can better warn us from possible consequences of future rules."
Aileen thinks for a second. "I like it, though I couldn't tell you how it would actually implement. According to this scale, creating a rule that introduces these severity classes would only result in a rule of Severity Class 'A' anyways, right? So there's no real danger in just adding it." Rob nods and takes the phone back. Aileen continues: "There is, however, a bit of danger to letting that water boil away completely, why don't you focus on dinner first?"
Rob jumps up, suddenly remembering dinner. While he salts the water and throws the pasta in the water, he talks over his shoulder: "Sorry, I got a bit distracted. Do you like tomato sauce?"
Aileen laughs. "I don't need food, silly, you're just making dinner for yourself."
Rob furrows his brow. "Wait, you said you don't need food or water, but you do take showers and use the toilet? That doesn't add up Aileen. Are you human or are you not?"
Aileen leans against the counter next to Rob and lets out a sigh. "I really don't know either, Rob. I also wasn't aware that apparently orgasms produce... uhm, y'know... fluids. Sorry about your pants and shirt by the way."
Rob laughs. "Apology accepted, don't worry. You bring up a good point though. Your body can't keep expelling stuff and not take anything in, that's not how any of this works. Are you feeling alright?"
Aileen nods. "Yeah! Better than ever before, though the timeframe for comparison is rather short of course." She laughs and after a short pause adds: "Y'know, you could always make a rule that defines how my body works in detail. That way we'd know for sure."
Rob takes a step back in surprise. "Are you kidding? I don't want to change you! Your body is your own, what right do I have to change it?"
Aileen smiles. "Dude, I'm the physical manifestation of the App itself, I'm not going to stop you from changing me. I am not against any of the rules you'll make. If you wanna make me a robot, do it. If you wanna make me fully human, do that instead! Besides, you already wrote a rule that changed how people think about privacy and shame. Nothing bad happened there either, right?"
Rob looks at the floor in thought. "I'm still not sure if I had any right to do that. Yes, nothing bad happened, but I still changed the behaviour of a lot of people."
Aileen takes his hand and he looks up at her. She has an encouraging expression on her face.
"Rob. First of all, as the user of the app, you have the right to change whatever you want. That's literally what the app allows you to do. Now, obviously, that fact won't change anything about your moral compass and honestly, personally I am kinda glad that you turned out to be a decent dude. You said it yourself, making the world a better place is your goal. To work towards that, you will eventually have to create some pretty impactful rules. I do understand not wanting to dive in head first right away, no take-backsies after all, but eventually you will have to write bigger rules. I truly believe you'll be up for the challenge, but you have to gain more confidence with the rules to chase that goal of yours. Think of it this way: For those people at the beach, you didn't suddenly erase their shame. They didn't grow up with shame around water in the first place! It is their normal reality. You and me are the only two individuals in existence that know about the previous reality. What you will also realize is that, with time, it'll become harder and harder to remember the previous realities. I don't know that for sure, but if my calculations are correct we'll both start to have trouble remembering. After all, you're not remembering the actual reality. You're remembering a fake reality that came before whatever reality you have created with the rules. Your pasta is ready, by the way."
Rob jumps up and starts prepping the pasta.
"You're right of course. I'll have to make bigger changes eventually if I truly want to make the world a better place." He sets two plates of pasta on the table and offers Aileen a seat, before he continues: "That's why I think these Severity Classes will be very helpful. They will allow me to gauge if I'm ready to commit to the changes a rule would make."
Aileen nods. She doesn't touch her spaghetti, but twirls them around her fork. "They would give you more clarity for sure."
Rob smiles. "I'm just glad I don't have to figure this out alone, to be honest."
Aileen grins. "Aww, look at you being all cute. I'll help where I can of course." She waits until Rob has taken a bite, before adding. "I'm pretty helpful for someone that was created exclusively to suck dick, huh?"
Rob spits out part of his bite as he tries to hold back a laughter. After recovering, he grins. "That's one way to describe your origin story."
After cleaning the mess he'd just made, he sits back for a moment. "You mentioned before that I could make you into a human. Would you like me to do that?"
Aileen pauses, looking at the spaghetti and then back at Rob. "I'm not sure. I don't have any reference of what being human means. When I was researching online today it seems that human bodies are pretty inefficient and frail. On top of that, human women seem to get fucked over by biology extra hard." She chuckles and Rob joins her.
"I won't argue with that, I also don't have any reference to being a woman. Maybe that's something I could add to the to-do list? Making life easier for women? Though I really don't wanna start my reality bending journey with changing the foundations of human biology, if I can help it."
Aileen laughs her crystal clear laugh again. "You're probably right." She pauses for a moment, before locking eyes with Rob. "You could start with me though? I think I'd like to more human. Right now the smell of this dinner makes my mouth water, but I have absolutely no urge to eat it."
Rob nods and immediately takes out the phone, looking to Aileen for one last signal of consent.
Aileen gives him an encouraging nod in return and he starts typing.
How does Rob define Aileen's new existence?

Rules and Consequences
A game that creates absolute rules that are universally true. With the exception of the user.
Rob's world gets turned upside down after he finds an app that seems like an interesting puzzle game. In his efforts to solve the puzzle, he stumbles into a rather interesting new life. Which course will this new life take? Will he take advantage of his power or will he remain confused and find himself in increasingly weird situations?
