Chapter 18 by OathkeeperPath OathkeeperPath

What is her solution?

Harsh but effective

Crash Course (rough draft v1)

Josh's dreamscape was an expansive stretch of road, dotted with cones, obstacles, and turns that mimicked real-life scenarios from police motorcycle courses and MotoGP tracks. AISYS's voice echoed in the space, crisp and authoritative.

"Welcome to your accelerated motorcycle rider training," she said. "This will be intense, but I believe in your capability to learn quickly."

A Honda CBR650R, identical to the one he had purchased, was waiting for him. Josh approached, feeling a rush of excitement and trepidation. It looked so real.

"Josh," AISYS continued, "we are going to use a negative reinforcement loop. Each mistake will result in the worst possible outcome, and then the scenario will reset. It's designed to help you learn quickly, and seems to work best with you after your improved performance from the most recent training."

Josh gulped nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. Of course that would be AISYS deduction from that borderline ****, she may fast becoming his closest and best friend but she was made by THE Tech Villain, He climbed onto the bike, feeling the weight and contours, mentally preparing to put himself through AISYS's idea of 'fast tracked training'

"Ready?" AISYS asked.

"Ready," Josh confirmed.

The training began.

Scenario after scenario unfolded. Sharp turns, emergency braking, avoiding collisions, handling the bike at high speed—Josh faced them all. And with each mistake, he was subjected to the terrifying consequences. Crashes, injuries, fatalities. Over and over, the nightmares played out in visceral detail.

But each time, he learned.

He adapted.

He improved.

The sensation of the wind rushing past, the sound of the engine roaring, the feeling of the bike responding to his every move—it all felt real. And the fear of failure, the agony of the crashes, drove him to master the skills with an urgency he had never felt before.

Hours turned into what felt like days. Sweat poured down Josh's brow, his hands ached, his mind was exhausted, but he kept going. He knew that this was the path to becoming not just a competent rider but an exceptional one.

Each success was met with a flash of something he couldn't quite catch and a full body flush and shiver of pleasure, quickly washed away by the need to pay attention to avoid making a mistake so soon after success, for a second he Idly wondered if this was him getting hooked on the constant back and forth of danger/punishment and success.

Finally, AISYS's voice broke through. "You've done it, Josh. You've completed the training."

He stopped the bike, feeling a profound sense of achievement and relief. He had faced his fears, endured the pain, and come out stronger.

"Thank you, AISYS," he breathed, feeling a connection to the AI that went beyond mere technology. They were partners, working together, growing together.

"Rest now," AISYS urged. "You've earned it."

As the dreamscape faded, Josh felt a lingering sense of pride. With that he finally entered true restful sleep as he had previously when completing AISYS's training.

Or so he thought.

Social training and a solution to hormone promlems.
