Harry Potter does Middlemarch

Jane told me it was a difficult choice but she had gone with what she described as ‘the monster’, sometimes described as England’s greatest novel, ‘Middlemarch’, which she said the BBC would throw the kitchen sink at. She invited Jacqui and me to her house on the Thames with her husband Oscar winning actor Tom Gillete.

The meal was fantastic, cooked by a top London chef and they even had a Filipino maid, Perla, to serve it. She was a pretty young thing who I could not help feeling serviced the power couple in other ways, a feeling pretty much confirmed when she delivered the sweet dressed only in a pinny leaving me to admire her dark olive backside During the meal Tom mainly seemed to focus on a star struck Jacqui’s tits whereas more than once I found Jane brushing by leg. After dinner and much wine had been consumed, we had a few more drinks with the chef, who we thanked profusely before he left although I guess he had been well paid in more ways than one.

Jane gestured me into another room. “I’ve got some stellar news for you, Tom wants to appear in ‘Middlemarch’ and thinks he can persuade some of his friends as well, friends like James McNeil.”
“I see” James McNeil had played Harry Potter in the TV series shown in the last decade and starred with Tom in a film.

Going out on a limb, “Any possibility he could get Hermione? She’s just done a tasteful Playboy spread called ‘Hermione grows up’ and has very perky tits.” Natalie Farmer, the actress in question, was a known party girl who had not yet managed to break Hollywood.
“Tom says she was a frequenter visitor on set, so maybe, but it might harm her career.”
“I’ve got a little bit of info that might help there, if you and Tom make sure it’s in confidence. Petra, Pride, has auditioned for and landed Anna Karenina.” This was true but given her performance on the casting couch/table, she was difficult to reject.
“You mean, she’s …”
“Oh yeah. She’s got what she wanted. I predict a very big future so if Tom casually mentions her … And if we can land the hat-trick, Ed Shearer, I have the perfect role for him and possibly a scene which will top the news again. Whatever, Tom can play Casaubon. He’ll get a fuck scene, maybe with Natalie but don’t, and I repeat don’t, promise him that. That’s something I would have to discuss with her.”
“That’s brilliant. Tom will be pleased and we’ll work on the Potter gang.” Let’s get back to the others.
