Harmony

“Nathan its me let me in I know your in there and why is there a barrier sigil on your door?” Yup it was Harmony no question about it. You unlocked the door keeping a close watch before closing it behind her.

“Nathan whats going on with you why are you acting so paranoid all of a sudden?” You sighed rubbing your forehead before sitting down in your comfy chair near the fireplace as your armored guardian threw a log into the fireplace you cast a small fireball starting a fire.

“I am pretty sure I am being watched right now by who I don’t know for what purpose unknown but regardless I am not taking the lying down. Being paranoid had saved you many times when you were out on the streets and you weren’t gonna take any chances especially now that Harmony was here.

Harmony smiled rolling her eyes choosing to chalk it up as her boyfriend being weird. Setting down her satchel Harmony took out a big textbook before setting it down on the coffee table in front if the couch before sitting down and opening the textbook.

“Well Nathan if you want to be paranoid thats fine but I need help with my sigils so can you help me please?” Getting up from his chair Nathan sat down next to Harmony. “Okay what do you need help with then?”

Harmony then began explaining. “So you this reflection sigil right here?” She pointed to her textbook. “I don’t understand why they use this sealing component five times it takes up so much mana where as you could remove three of those and be fine right?”

You glanced over the sigil briefly before speaking. “No if you removed two of the sealing components from the sigil it would no longer be able to effectively reflect anything higher then a tier 3 spell whereas if you added you five more sealing components, a mana reservoir, a tier three containment seal and a three tier ten fortitude seals you could reflect or absorb about a second’s worth of a tier 10 spell.

Harmony looked up at you like you were an alien before speaking. “Okay so I want to make this reflection sigil able to reflect at least a tier 7 spell what would you recommend?”

You took out a paper and quickly drew a sigil before showing it to Harmony. “Something like this however unlike the original sigil you need to make sure that you add at least three sealing components before you try using it. “

Harmony nodded before she asked another question. It would be a few hours as you helped Harmony decipher the mystery that was sigils guiding her properly to help her get her homework done.

“All right finally finished and with that we can finally relax.” Harmony exclaimed only see you laying flat on the couch now having a headache from all of Harmony’s questions but she didn’t need to know that. You laid down your hand covering your eyes only replying with a “thats great sweetheart.”

Sighing Harmony realized Nathan wasn’t going to be doing anything for a while. Harmony took off her sweater and shoes before letting her hair down freeing it from the ponytail she had it in all day. Laying down in top of her boyfriend she guided his other hand onto one of her breasts before speaking.

“Come on Nathan don’t you want to spend some time with me?” Nathan on the other hand sighed before taking his hand out from Harmony’s breasts and pulled her closer to him. Sitting up he her kissed her before laying her head under his chin before speaking. “Maybe we can have sex later right now I’m tired.” Nathan said as he stroked his girlfriend’s hair luscious and long blond hair.

Disappointed but understanding Harmony pecked her boyfriend’s cheek before speaking. “Alright but your gonna have to make it to me later then mister.” She said giggling a little. Nathan on the other hand only smiled before replying. “Your gonna regret those words sweetheart by the time I am done with you your going to be limping to class.” Harmony smiled before replying. “I hope you know I will hold you to that Nathan.” She said before closing her eyes. You only smiled before nodding off as well holding onto your girlfriend as the two of you fell asleep holding onto each other.
