Harmonies

Spiral scoffed at Emma. She gave the hammer to a PA and walked over to the cases.

"Show us number 4!" She tried to get excited again. Number 4 opened to show a dove with an olive branch. "You got harmony. The audience will pick from a handful of special changes that will make your punishments easier to bear. What you get is up to them, but it will always be good. Now let's see what you have to look forward to!" They both turned to the screen that showed off her changes.

1. Degradation magnet. Let's help Emma out. Rather than a junkie starving for her next fix, she'll be absolutely drowning in degradation. People will naturally not respect her, even more than before, and they will make it abundantly known. Everyone will be looking for an excuse to **** her, and they will find it often. She can still have friends, and people who appreciate her, but even they will snap at the opportunity to make her feel embarrassed if it comes up.
2. Woman's Best Friend. It's a little hard to get around when you're on a leash you can't control. A little role reversal will help that. Whenever Emma is alone, or around people she doesn't know/like, she can summon a little friend to help her. A very small and excitable dog will appear at the end of the chain and generally listen to where Emma wants to go. It might get distracted and it might go at a speed she doesn't like, but eventually she'll get there. Oh and the dog gets tired, so if she accidentally summons it during its break time it'll just curl up and take a nap instead of taking her anywhere.
3. Leader of the pack. Emma's going to be jumping into her new style headfirst. She shouldn't be alone in that. This change will make a goth wave wash over the superhero community. All of Emma's friends and colleagues will feel this urge to also dress goth. It'll be even stronger than hers, including makeup and hair and in **** cases even behavior. This’ll ensure that she's never the odd one out. She won't be able to explain it to them however. They'll just think that for whatever reason they want to change up their style now. Not every superhero and heroine will be affected, just the ones closest to Emma.
4. A way out. Emma's got a stellar secondary mutation. Not only is she a telepathic powerhouse, but she can turn herself into an organic diamond form that's immune to other people's telepathic tampering. Let's give her an even bigger boost. None of Emma's transformations will affect her while she is in her diamond form. To make sure she doesn't stay in that diamond form 24/7 though, she will steadily get hornier and hornier, as well as dumber and dumber, the longer she stays in that form until she drops it. Using it in quick succession will exacerbate this problem. This won't come up in a fight, but if she's actively avoiding her changes it'll be sure to bite her in the butt.

"Aren't they supposed to help me?" Emma asked, unimpressed.

"They do! Trust me, you're going to appreciate any of the ones you get." Spiral assured. "But which one do you want the most?"

"The last one," Emma said. "I can conserve my time I my diamond form perfectly fine thank you very much. This is the only one with an unambiguous upside."

"Like I said, they're all upsides if you look at it right," Spiral pushed. "Now let's get those votes in!"
