The next day brought a surprise.
Starfire was no longer dressed in Tamaranean war armor, but the purple outfit the alternate dimension versions of her wore when she joined the Teen Titans.
Also, she was cheery as a sun on a spring day. So bright and shiny, you swore you heard nonexistant birds sing.
"Greetings, glorious Overlord!" Starfire said as she floated through the air.
Various Orcs and Goblins looked at you, as if silently crying for help.
"I take it you contacted your home?" You asked as she stopped right by your side.
"Yes, and it was wonderful!" Starfire answered as she hugged you
Galfore was listening to Blackfire, who was in front of a large mirror and trying on different clothes for the speech about Starfire's ****[Galfore, how is this speech? It is with a heavy heart that I-] Blackfire began before the Mirror glitched out and showed Starfire.
[Koriand'r?] Galfore asked.
[I am alive! A wonderful man not only saved me, but is helping me wage guerrilla warfare on the Gordanians!] Starfire answered.
[Do you know what you've done?] Blackfire asked, her eyes burning with rage and her teeth grinding.
[I have given Tamaran another chance and have gotten their word that they will hep find Ryand'r, sister,] Starfire replied.
[Do you have any proof of your savior's intentions?] Galfore asked.
[And did they ask for anything in return for their help?] Blackfire asked with a look of annoyance.
[They asked me to be their right hand,] Starfire answered. [As for proof... Mirror, please show them what happened on the ship.]
Blackfire smiled as she watched the battle and her attention was always drawn to you when you appeared.
"And then what happened?" You asked.
"They asked if it was possible for you to visit, so they could thank you personally! Blackfire was especially insistent on meeting you," Starfire asked, snuggling up to you.
"I think I can spare the time," You answered. "As for news on my end, my minions have destroyed 15 more Gordanian ships and have began to salvaging them."
"Why?" Starfire asked, stopping the hug.
"I have found a few possible choices for someone to focus on Scientific research," You answered. "But I think I can hold on that until after we get back from Tamaran."
"Ah. I shall go let my sister and Galfore know you are coming!" Starfire said before givign you a bone-crushing hug and giving you a kiss.
"Master... the Mistress kept talking and talking about... Eugh... cheerful things that weren't smashing and bashing," A minion said.
"Don't worry. In due time, she'll change to be a better mistress," You said.
"And what if she doesn't?" the minion asked.
You pondered that for a few seconds before saying, "Tell a few Shadow Master Goblins to sneak onto Tamatan and see if they can find anything interesting about the war with Gordanians. I suspect Starfire might be ignorant of certain matters about the war."
