Happy Birthday

Olivia's voice on the other end of the line was cheerful and bright. "Hey John! Happy birthday!" Her warm tone made John's heart skip a beat. He couldn't help but smile at the sound of her voice.

“How do you know that it is my birthday?” he asks a little concerned that she knew this.

“Oh, did I not tell you I have been stalking you,” he did not know how to respond to this but thankfully she quickly continued, “Just kidding, no actually I heard one of the guys say it yesterday as he was leaving.” He takes a sigh of relief.

"Thank you, Olivia," John replied, trying to sound casual despite the sudden rush of excitement he felt. "What's up?"

"I was just wondering if you're planning to come down to the gym later today," Olivia said, her voice tinged with anticipation. "I thought we could finally work out together like we talked about."

His heart raced, “Yeah, I have to do some work in the morning, then I have some stuff planned with my family in the evening, but I plan on coming down for my second workout sometime in the afternoon.”

“Perfect,” she replies with a extra spring in her voice. “See you later.”
