Chapter 3 by Tjf Tjf

Who will you be?

Hannibal Barca - Enemy of Rome

The dead litter the ground, tens of thousands of bodies. Some are your men, but the blood that waters the ground of this field is mostly Roman. The day began simply enough, as you woke to the sight of your cock engulfed in the mouth of Lina, your favorite bed . Taking your rod down to the hilt, cupping your balls and flicking her tongue over the head expertly, the beautiful, raven haired young North African woman quickly brought you to orgasm, shooting your seed down her throat and across the olive skin of her face. After that you ate and donned your armour, before leaving your tent and watching the two armies glaring at each other from across a small field outside the town of Cannae.

Beating the Romans was easy. Filled with hate and hubris, they came at your men head on, never questioning why the veteran Carthaginian army gave ground so easily, letting themselves be enveloped, not seeing your horsemen before the smashed into the Roman rear and turned the battle into a slaughter. "Some of the bastards got away, Barca" you hear from behind you as you walk amongst the dead. Turning, you see a tall, long haired Spaniard looking down at you from his horse. "How many, brother"? you ask. "Perhaps four or five thousand. The cowards ran into the woods before we could get a proper count" the man replies. You stop to think for a moment. The man on the horse is Tiero, the commander of your cavalry, and your best friend. He has been fighting Romans longer than you have, throughout Roman-controlled Spain, and was natural addition to your army, being quickly promoted as you noticed his natural talent at and leadership. As soon as the battle had finished you ordered Tiero to attack the Roman camp and seize their money, slaves and (if you were lucky) information on your enemy's war effort. However, the horseman's information leaves you with a dilemma. You've been in enough battles to know that five thousand veterans can make a world of difference to a fight, and that leaving so many survivors could give the Romans hope for the future. Your cavalry are some of the best in the world, but you have too few to attack both the camp and the fleeing soldiers at the same time, and by the time they've finished one job, the camp followers will have taken everything of value from the camp or the routed soldiers will have made it to safety. You tell Tiero:

What are your orders?
