Hanging out with her crush

"Hey Yuki," a boy's voice said from behind her. Yuki spun around, caught a bit off guard but not surprised. There stood a brown haired boy, wearing a t-shirt and baggy shorts. His slightly shaggy hair fell low enough to hide a bit of his deep green eyes, but the rest of his cute face was easily recognizable.

"Oh, hi Brandon!" Yuki said, failing to completely hide her nervous tone. She'd had a bit of a crush on him for a while now, and had been looking for any opportunity to spend more time with him. An irresistible opportunity had presented itself yesterday when Yuki's friend Rachel had suggested that she, Yuki, Brandon, and his friend Taylor all hang out together after school. Then earlier today, being a good friend, Rachel had covertly convinced Taylor to bail on the plans, before doing the same herself. So, though it wasn't quite a date, it was still some quality time just the two of them!

"Um, I guess Taylor's busy or something," Brandon said, a bit nervously.

"Rachel is too," Yuki said, trying her best to sound a bit flirty, "so I guess it'll just be the two of us!"

Brandon nodded, and there was a bit of an awkward silence for a few moments, amidst the clamor of dozens of other students packing up and heading home for the day. The girl with the locker next to Yuki slammed it shut and walked off, giving the two a bit more space.

"Um, you look nice today," Brandon said, blushing slightly.

"Th-thanks!" Yuki said, blushing more than just a little bit. She'd spent a lot of time picking out her outfit that morning, and was glad he'd noticed. Yuki was sporting a knee-length skirt, loose, flowing, and covered in a colorful flowery print. Above it, she had a muted gray button-up short-sleeved blouse.

The two high schools seniors continued chatting for a bit, with no small amount of awkward attempts at flirting and blushing between them. As they did, the hallway gradually cleared of people. And eventually, it was deserted and Yuki realized they had been standing there talking for nearly 20 minutes!

"Oh, we should get going!" Yuki said. They hadn't quite settled on what they were doing yet, but Yuki figured they could decide on the way. Brandon nodded and Yuki grabbed her backpack.

But, as she tried to step away from the row of lockers, Yuki felt a harsh tug from her waist. She glanced down and saw, with no small amount of dismay, that the hem of her skirt was trapped in the locker beside her! It must have been dangling too far to the side when Yuki's locker-neighbor closed the door. Trying not to panic, Yuki gave it a few covert tugs. But the trapped fabric didn't budge. It was one of Yuki's favorite skirts, so she really didn't want to risk damaging or ruining it.

"What's wrong?" Brandon asked, noticing Yuki was struggling with something.

"Um," she began, "this is kind of embarrassing but... I think my skirt's stuck in a locker."

"Oh, here let me help!" Brandon eagerly volunteered.

Before Yuki could say anything, he stepped beside her and crouched down to examine the situation. Yuki couldn't help but blush as she felt his hands toying with the fabric of her skirt. He gently pulled at the trapped section, clearly doing his best not to damage the skirt either.

"Hmm, I think I can get it free," Brandon eventually said. "But..."
