Hang around a bit

You decide it's best to stay put at least for a while. You inspect the stones some more, and decide conclusively that they have some sort of static charge when you realise that your hair sticks up whenever you get near them. You also notice that you seem to feel more nauseous the longer you hang around them. The temperature also drops too, and you start to feel the cold through your flimsy clothing. No one seems to be coming as far as you can tell, though you think you heard some twigs breaking every now and again...
