Hang Your Hat Pt 6 Conclusion

Walt chuckled and shook his head as she was playing again, this time nibbling the hand she was holding. "Incorrigible," he said as he pulled those hands up to kiss them but shook his head no.

Neo sighed but nodded smiling. They were close to the main house now and having reached the relative saftey of home she'd already distracted them with three "detours". They needed to complete their errand anyway. Whatever secret power source was in the truck needed charging anyway.

Seeing the house come into view she leaned over to give Walt a look. He glanced at her and shook his head. "They'll figure it out eventually anyway. Penny knows and that's what is most important in this deal you two worked out." Neo nodded in agreement. No point keeping secrets then.

They pulled up and got out of the truck. Walt started unloading supplies as the others came out to help. Most seemed to be happy for them but they were all surprised to see how blatant they were about it. As if the switched hats weren't a dead giveaway or the length of time running errands took. Their clothes were completely disheveled and they had marked each others bodies in very obvious places and ways.

Penny was thrilled. Her plan was working and took it's first step forward! She wanted to ask so many things but she also wanted the two of them to have special moments kept to themselves if they wanted. She was so happy when both of them kissed her cheek! She hugged them both and started helping Neo carry things inside.

As for the other girls it looked like Kali, Ahnassi and Lifts-Her-Tail approved of Walt and Neo. Sienna appeared curious but indifferent. It appeared Blake was still undecided about her feelings on the new development and it was honestly hard to tell with Pyrrha since she was blushing so much, but she did smile which he took as a good sign.

He did get a fair bit of teasing though especially from Ahnassi, but he expected no less from her. Lifts-Her-Tail was at least mostly respectful with hers and only made a few comments. Kali though seemed very amused.

In the kitchen she reached up and touched his neck gently suggesting he get first-aid for some particularly vigorous marks Neo had left. She also implied that he might have taken less damage from the bear the other day. They all laughed even Walt.

When Kali stopped touching him though she turned away quickly so Walter wouldn't see her biting her lip. She saw Ahnassi and Lifts-Her-Tail looking at her though. She blushed and announced she'd put things away in the big pantry before starting preparations for dinner.

Penny had taken Neo upstairs. Her small friend seemed to be glowing but she could see she was exhausted. Penny was trying to be helpful to her which seemed to embarrass Neo the more than anything else, but she accepted.

On his way out the door to bring the last of the last of the supplies Walt saw the pamphlets and booklets. He skimmed over the titles quickly shaking his head and chuckling. It was quite the variety. Some of the ones he spotted on top made him wonder what it was he was getting into, exactly. He supposed he'd find out eventually.

He put the truck away and engaging the recharging processes took the last of the items towards the house. Pyrrha came to give him a hand as she and Blake stepped out on to the porch.

"Thank you, Pyrrha."

She blushed as their hands touched. She kept thinking about the hotsprings and what Penny had told them earlier. "You're very welcome, Walter." She couldn't help looking at him. His clothes still rumpled. His hair a little messed up. Hickey and scratches and even bites Neo had left on him. But he was smiling. He looked good. This is what someone who was having sex looked like. Lots of sex apparently. Walter having sex. She blushed even more thinking about it.

She looked again and caught him looking at her and he blushed too. He'd just read her mind a little bit again! But he looked away, nodded and simply said. "Yup. Neo and I did it."

Pyrrha was surprised he was willing to be open about something that was embarrassing for him. She wanted to ask so many things but..."And you're both, happy?"

Walt smiled and looked at her. Pyrrha was a good person. "We are."

Pyrrha smiled back,"Then I'm happy too." She nodded her head making up her mind about that much. "Penny and the others were right about that much. We should support each others happiness in our second chances."

They were coming up the porch now. Blake heard that and looked at Pyrrha. She'd been thinking about it too. "You really think so? I'm starting think that way too..."

Walt looked between the two of them. The bags only held dry goods so there was no rush. He sat them down and leaned on the porch railing. "I take it there was some discussion while we were out?"

They both nod. Pyrrha sets her bags down to and takes a seat. "Penny told us her thoughts. Most of the others supported her right away, but..."

Walt smiled. "Some of you needed time to think it over?" He sees them both look down. "Hey, you didn't do anything wrong. There's nothing wrong with taking your time and deciding how you feel about something new." He reached up and rubbed the back of his neck. "I was hesitant at first myself. I'm no prude but I never would have thought of the idea on my own. That was all on her."

Pyrrha nods. "I figured as much and that fits with what she told us."

Walt nodded. "I love Penny. And I thought to myself if that's something she wants, can I go along with it?"

Blake looked at him. "And you decided you could for her?"

Walt chuckled and nodded. "That one was easy. I'd do pretty much darn anything she asked of me. The next questions were harder. Should we? Was there a "good" way? What was most important? And I told her the most important thing was that we not hurt anyone with her idea. It's important to me that if it's going to happen that no one gets hurt by it. Respect those who go along and those who don't. And as the owner, I feel it would be irresponsible of me to **** the issue one way or another. I know some do, and I have no problem with that, but that's not something I'm comfortable with or at least not yet. Especially with friends and loved ones."

He sighed and nodded. "So I told her that and she'd have to be upfront and open with setting ot all up. Make sure no one gets hurt. Everyone's wishes and needs respected. If she could do that much, I'd go along. Neo's feelings had been pretty obvious and last night she openly expressed them. I told her to talk it over with Penny who'd already had those thoughts and here we are."

Blake shook her head. "And you're fine with that? Her building you a little harem! Your harem queen. A fantsy come true."

"Blake, I don't-" Pyrrha started.

"I wasn't fine at all, Blake!" Walt's voice rose and then dropped. "Sure it was an easy decision. She asked for it and I'd do anything she asked, but it was a big ask. Her wanting me to sleep with her friends just to make them all happy! Sure, I want her to be happy and she has attractive friends. But I love her and she's mine! It's been so long since I had something good in my life like this... like her. I'm ashamed to admit that a ugly possessive streak I didn't know I had, rose up in me. I didn't want to share her. I've never been apart of something like this. All this is new to me too. I'm not the wonderful, perfect person she thinks I am. But I'm trying to be for her. So I crushed that feeling and strangled it 'til it was dead, so I could plant the seed of her wish."

Blake walks over and puts her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry Walt. That was a thoughtless thing for me to say." She sits on the rail next to him. "Knowing how you are that must have been hard for you." She sighed thinking about her past experiences with relationships. "Love can make you do or consider things you've never done or considered before. I know from experience that jealousy and possessiveness aren't easy to rise above. But you did and you did it for her. That says a lot." She leans her head against his shoulder. "You're a good person. Not all are. "

Walt patted her knee and Pyrrha also reached out and put her hand on top of his. "I agree. You were the one who considered the consequences. You're the one who told her if it was going to be done everyone involved needed to be safe, protected and respected. You're a good friend with a good heart who considers the needs of others before yourself."

"Thank you," he said. "I'm trying to be responsible and do better. Be better." He looked at them. "For her and all of you. Myself too. We all deserve some happiness. Penny, beautiful soul that she is, wants to give that to all of us. I don't deserve her, or any of you for that matter, but I want to. I'm going to do everything I can to be worthy of your friendship and her love. Neo's too. I promise."

Blake nodded. "Then you have my full support as well." She blushes. "I don't know about the other stuff, though..."

Walt nods. "To tell the truth I'm not sure either but I'm doing my best. Whatever that takes." Now Walter blushes."Though judging by some of the literature I just saw, I may be in for quite the ride..."

They all blush, look at each other and laugh.

"Saddle up, cowboy." Says Blake giggling.

"You've got a rough ride ahead of you," says Pyrrha laughing.

"Boy howdy!" Says Walt chuckling.

Sienna moved away from the door thinking about what she'd just overheard. She honestly hadn't meant to eavesdrop but when she'd heard their conversation she didn't feel right interrupting them.

She abandoned the idea of the porch and went over to the fireplace instead. She put another log on and sat down in front of it thinking.

She still didn't fully trust the man, he was a human after all, but it was hard not to like him. If there were more people like that in her world maybe the Faunus wouldn't have had to suffer so.

She lay down in front of the fire. She'd need time to think. The human was right about that. Hastily rushing to decisions was unwise.

And laying by the fire at home was as good a place as any to do it.

Penny had drawn a bath for Neo and gone to grab a change of clothes. In the msster bedroom she was shooked by what she found! She started to cry and it took her a long while to stop. When she'd come back she knocked and waited. She heard Neo repeat her knock and went inside.

"I brought you a fresh change of clothes, Neo!"

Neo was relaxing in the tub. She looked over and signaled her thanks.

"You're very welcome, Neo!" Penny told her.

Neo sank down in the big tub. She kept going until she was completely submerged. She stayed for awhile before rising above the water again wiping the hair from out of her face.

She looked over and saw Penny by the door. She was like an open book. Excitement, interest, curiosity and wanting to respect Neo's privacy were making her giddy but also apprehensive. Neo snapped her fingers and when Penny looked she motioned for he to come in.

Penny lit up and started to strip down. That wasn't exactly what Neo intended but it was fine. Looking at Penny's earnest face it was hard to say no to her new friend. Especially since they'd already seen so much of each other and likely would be seeing so much more in the future.

"Friend". Neo thought watching the lovely young woman bare herself. I have a "friend" now...she hadn't had many of those...

Actually she had "friends" plural when she thought about it... that was even more rare...

So was a "lover" the last few years... she looked at Penny, remembering that they had agreed to share Walter soon together, and corrected soon to be "lovers"...

Penny, now naked, walked iver to the tub. Neo had assumed she'd sit across from her but she indicated Neo slide forward instead. Neo did and Penny got in behind her and started to wash her back for her.

Neo sighed and relaxed. As penny eased her aches and pains away. It was almost much a massage as it was a washing. Penny was pretty good and trying hard to please her. She also didn't push Neo to share even though she was **** to know. She appreciated that. Her friend. She smiled.

She shared a little bit about her date but kept many details private which Penny respected as a good friend should.... but mostly they plotted and planned more.

Later after dinner everyone relaxed in the great room. There was more mild teasing of Walter and Neo but Blake and Pyrrha voiced their support of her and Penny as well. Walt was pleased to see everyone getting along and it seemed like the last few hold outs were really starting to make themselves feel at home now.

He placed another log on the fire which Sienna was streched out in front of again. Blake and Kali were reading booklets. While Pyrrha, Ahnassi and Lifts-Her-Tail shared stories from their world. He looked over and saw Penny and Neo talking. He announced he was going to shower and turn in, reminding everyone about tomorrow.

Neo found she was hesitant as she approached the master bedroom.

She thought she knew what to expect but as she drew nearer she was nervous... which wasn't like her at all! She was The Neopolitan! Theif, spy, saboteur and trickster opponent extraordinaire... and she was having doubts.

That was when she felt her hand on her shoulder. Penny was smiling sweetly at her waiting for her to pluck her courage and enter. Supporting her... just like Walter, did.

Finding her nerve she entered the bedroom and there he was. He looked up and smiled seeing them. Neo actually blushed as he approached. Penny helped her out of her coat while Walter took her hat surprising her. She watched as he reached up to where a rack made up if horns lay and gently placed it next to his old grey hat and Penny's new white one. Black, grey and white. Together at home. Where they belonged.

She smiled and all three hugged and readied for bed. Tonight she would sleep with them and, she realized as Penny pointed to Walter's bedside table, any night she wanted too she would be welcome here.

Walt climbed into bed and kissed them both. Their eyes looked teary to him, Penny with her arms wrapped around Neo from behind. "Everything alright?"

She smiled, "Everything's just fine and as it should be." Neo nodded. They both snuggled up to him happily, so Neo was in-between them.

Walt smiled. He looked over at the side table where he had put the new pictures.

Penny leaning over and looking down at him wearing her outfit that had stunned him and smiling brightly.

Neo looking up at him while wearing his hat and eating ice cream, smiling warmly and enjoying herself.

He agreed. Everything was as it should be.

He turned out the lights and that night they slept together holding Neo.
