Hang Out with Alysia

Barbara felt bad that she hadn't been giving Alysia any of her time, she quickly texted her,

'Just Escaped'

'IlCumpik youp you athe main intranc?'

'Thanks, I'll wait'

While waiting for Alysia Barbara texted Dick,

'Gonna Half to take a rain check. See you later'

Then she texted her father,

'Thnx, be careful, may be home a little later'

As she sent the messege Alysia's 10 year old pink convertible pulled up at the end of the steps with the top down and some top pop song radio station playing, Barbara pocketed her phone and vaulted over the passengers side door, Alysia turned the radio down,

"Hey Barb, you been avoiding me?" She asked playfully,

"Of course not, I've just been super busy with the IT job at Waynetech" Barbara answered pulling her seatbelt on, "So what's the plan?"

"I want to hit the mall."

Barbara followed Alysia between stores in the mall, Alysia was still wearing her white and yellow cheerleader uniform with cropped jean jacket over top, and her tote bag on her shoulder,

"Look, they have new posters" Alysia pointed towards the Buy and Trade Media Store, Barbara ran to keep up as Alysia ran into the store.

Alysia began carefully flipping through the posters until she found one she was interested in, she separated the frames on a full size poster for the second Men in Black movie, while Alysia kept searching the posters Barbara wandered the store a little, it was littered with official collectables and bootleg tee-shirts, she scanned a shelf of discounted pre-owned owned DVDs, then something on a spinner caught her eye, it was a cheap plastic ripcord disc launcher like she had seen kids use in middle school, except instead of a cord it had a trigger to launch a little plastic disk, the package was themed after Daracula and was intended to look old but very clearly was not.

Alysia ended up purchasing only the one poster, they stopped to eat before she dropped Barbara off at home, she went upstairs to her room and dropped her backpack off on the bed, she locked her door and stripped off her clothes, she entered the bathroom and stepped into the shower stall, she quickly found and pressed the button built into the little molded into the wall, the wall in front of her twisted silently, revealing a small passageway, Barbara stepped through and the wall closed behind her, her weight in the space also triggered the shower to start.

Barbara pulled her cowl down over her face, she flipped a row of switches on her workbench that deactivated the shower and unlocked her bedroom door for when her father came home, the last switch caused the wall opposite her workbench to split open revealing a bronze pole.
