"Perhaps I could handle the hunters for you?"
"Turning on your comrades so quickly? How lovely, but no. They're a target of interest to be sure but one that can be dealt with at our leisure. Instead I'd like for you to head to city hall and make sure the transfer of power goes smoothly."
She taps the map and it melts away before reforming into the head of a familiar looking man.
"I've had dealings with our dear mayor in secret for some time now, of course as far as he's aware it's just business. Of course the real reason for those dealings was to get my hooks into the city government and find out who is most susceptible to our advances. The mayor himself is an ambitious little thing and I don't trust him to stay under my thumb so your main goal is to see him disposed of."
She hits the face and it smashes to pieces and reforms, this time in the shape of a woman.
"This is who will replace him, Councilor Amy Miller. She proved to be quite amenable to my advances and once I exposed the truth she practically begged to do whatever I wanted for what I offered her. Once you're finished she'll become our figurehead until we're ready to rule openly and then I'll see to her reward."
The face scatters back into the table and the room changes again, back to how it was when you entered.
"You, my dearest bride, are to ensure everything goes smoothly. Ever since the fateful day at the house I've built up quite the following but from here on out we'll be much more strict with who receives our blessing, we don't want to go hungry after all. I certainly hope the minions I've sent will behave but if they don't..." She lifts your chin and kisses you once more for a brief moment before returning to speaking. "You have my permission to deal with them as you see fit."
"I will be the instrument of your will."
"I know you will my love. Now go dress yourself, my bride should only show her true beauty to her Queen."
Once more the room shifts and a rack displaying a dazzling array of clothing appears from the floor.
