What's next?

Hallway Chatter

The long and drawn-out assembly finally came to an end and the eager students couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Dean Wilkerson tried to shake off any embarrassment from his rough speech and set his sights on the disruptive teens from earlier. Luckily, Drew caught sight of him quick enough.

“Oh fuck! We should probably get out of here!” Drew nearly shouted as he grabbed Nellie firmly by the hand.

“I mean I usually require a nice meal and some entertainment first, but I’ll make an exception for you stud! And what about these two? Are they just watching or participating…?” Nellie continued to tease. The saucy girl could often times struggle with switching off her heavy flirting, even if it led to more and more trouble.

“Knock it off Helen!” Destiny snapped back at her best friend. The use of her first name caused a sharp expression from the girl but did seem to work at quieting her down. Destiny quickly linked arms with Mason to pull him away from the incoming authority just as Drew did to Nellie. Once the four of them had made it safely away, they decided it was best to part ways. “I better be seeing more of you Mason! If I hear of you partying again without inviting me, there will be hell to pay!” Destiny gave the reserved guy a sweet kiss on the cheek and a smack on the ass as she giggled at his uncomfortableness.

“Yeah, yeah… Pretend I just said something sweet and catchy as well…” Nellie mocked to Drew before she shot forward and launched her tongue into Drew’s mouth. The guy was clearly caught off guard but just as quickly caught up as he battled his tongue forward right around the time that she broke off the surprise kiss. “See you soon Andrew! I can’t wait for you to put a baby in me next time!” The scandalous teen shouted as she hoped to catch the fun wrecker, Jocelyn’s, attention. Destiny snatched up her wild friend, as she often does, and made their way down the hall with shared laughter.

The two mortified guys did their best to speed off in the opposite direction when the very curious Scotty and Alex finally caught up to them.

“Fuck sake boys! School’s been in session for like two hours and rumor says that Drew already got a handy!” Scotty nearly shouted as other students began to look in their direction. Drew quickly put his hand over his loud friend’s mouth.

“Drew? I heard it was Mason getting some action.” Alex said as he turned to the mortified, stoic guy. Alex gave Mason a nod “Respect my guy.” Both of the accused young men realized that they’d quickly have to squash the rumors if they want to keep their reputations intact.

“Am I going to have to get you two neutered?!” The new member of the group sharply added. Alicia stared the two guys down as she still tried to figure out the best way to deal with them. Chelsea popped up behind her and let out a giggle.

“I for one love a performance but I wish I was watching the right stage!” Chelsea’s cheeky exclamation garnered a fair amount of attention, which made the group a bit nervous but almost slipped a chuckle from Alicia. This lapse only made the typically in control girl double down.

“Don’t think I won’t disown both you horny little shits, if it threatens my reputation!” Alicia continued to unload on the pair as Scotty and Alex enjoyed not being the targets of her wrath for once. “This actually strengthens my next debate topic on why men should be caged and only used for reproduction!” Alicia was preparing her next somewhat **** view before a slipped giggle next to her stole the guys’ attention.

The blonde beauty was still trying to take in everything that was going on around her while currently being entertained by her newest friend ripping into the two guys that she’d yet to meet. Alicia’s attention broke once again as she looked at the girl and then back at her male friends with exhaustion.

“I’m sorry dear. Those more reputable friends of mine seem to be nowhere to be found! Only these two cave men. Horny imbeciles… Meet Fiona Townsend.” Alicia said with hesitation as she regretted the introduction immediately.

Both guys instantly straightened up as they gave their full attention to the newcomer. Drew seemed to take the lead as he stepped forward.

“I’m almost embarrassed to introduce myself after that unfortunate showing but I’m Andrew Murphy, well most of my friends call me Drew. I assure you that Eagle Crest is a great Academy. The opportunities here are immense and the culture is fantastic, even if we have to put up with Alicia here.” Drew added with an arrogant rebuttal towards Alicia’s dig. He hid the nerves well as he added his trademark smile. Alicia rolled her eyes in frustration, that only Drew could somehow recover from this and have the new girl swooning in no time. The comeback and smile certainly worked on Fiona, at first, as she did her best to conceal both her blush and a smile. Then the smart blonde became suspicious of what type of guy he might be and often this little showing worked on all of the other girls. ‘Probably quite often’ the smitten teen assumed before shaking that thought from her head and trying to not be just another fan girl. The blonde responded with a raised eyebrow and simple head nod. This had the confident guy both confused and maybe even more so attracted to who this girl is. Fiona quickly turned her glance to stare at the other mischievous guy as if waiting for his introduction. Mason swallowed hard at the sudden attention.

“Hey... I’m Mason Anderson. Most of my friends call me, Mason, or Anderson…” He dryly and somewhat nervously added. Fiona cracked a small smile from the seemingly less dangerous boy. The words from her new acquaintance Malia suddenly came back in her head as he may not be quite as unassuming as he appears.

“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you Mason or Anderson.” The newcomer added with a slight giggle as she continued to study him. The peaceful introduction was soon interrupted by all of the chatter around them, including Chelsea and Alex breaking into a tune once again.

“Well as much as I’d like to see you two embarrass yourselves further, I think we all need to get headed out. Fiona what class do you first?” Alicia asked, switching from snarky to friendly in a quickness.

“Literature!...” Fiona responded while suddenly trying to hide her excitement. Writing is what brought her here after all, so she considers it a good omen that her very first class is actually something to look forward to.

Alicia started to study her map so she could help advise the girl, before Chelsea suddenly linked arms with the startled newcomer.

“Follow me!” Chelsea declared. “Your class is just across the hall from mine! I’ve been studying the school’s map for weeks!” Fiona let out a nervous smile as she was quickly yanked away by her new, well prospect, friend. Once the two new girls were out of sight, Drew turned towards Alicia.

“Moving forward, could you not try and embarrass the shit out of me in front of the hot new chick?? Besides, there’s no reason to be jealous 'Lish, you’ll still be my favorite girl after all.” He both teased and chastised the combative Alicia as he went to put his arm on her shoulder, that she quickly pushed away.

“Is your game so weak that I should make up some story about you being some demi-god? Here’s a thought, if you don’t want girls to think you’re a player, then keep your tongue out of the first willing cheerleader’s mouth!” Alicia snarked back with a little more bite than usual. This was enough to make the other guys swallow hard and look away, as Drew was certainly taken back from the remark. The rare feud from the typically close friends caught the others off guard as Alex took the chance to step in.

“Well, I for one, don’t doubt your goddess status and would consider it an honor to walk you to class.” Alex said as he quickly stepped next to Alicia with his cheesiest smile to match that pick-up line.

Alicia was pretty worked up and would normally scoff at his attempted flirting but figured in this case it was best to walk away. She of course couldn’t leave without a parting comment, “For you two fuckups, do better!”

Drew ignored the comment and quickly turned away, just as he was met with a mob of people who were much happier to be in his presence. He instantly plastered a smile back on his face as he went through the motions of his normal cheery greetings.

Mason and Scotty were now the only two remaining. As they each took the moment to process, Scotty capitalized on the chance to screw with Mason. He shook his head in a disappointed manor, “So let’s get this straight, one of the sluttiest cheerleaders threw herself at you at you still came out sucking your own thumb. Only you Anderson…” Mason did his best to ignore his chastising friend, who only took this as a challenge to go further. “If you put your big boy pants on, we just might find a **** girl to fuck you this year.”

“And if you put your big boy pants on… But wait you’d just shit in them, right Toots?” Mason blurted back after having enough of his friend’s teasing. He didn’t often bring up the embarrassing memory for Scotty but sometimes enough was enough. Scotty winced at the unexpected return fire.

“Dude! That was one time. You know that crazy chick set me up. That was a premeditated pants shitting!” Suddenly Scotty realized how loud he was being and tried to lower his tone as he shifted his eyes back and forth to see if anyone was hearing this less than flattering conversation. He did see one attractive girl side eye him briefly before she tried to go unnoticed. Scotty quickly dove in for some damage control, while Mason used the distraction to take off towards his first class. “Please ignore my simple-minded friend here. He does get a bit confused at times, likely one hit to the head too many during wrestling practice. It’s so barbaric I always say. This is basically charity hours for me to even to help the poor fella navigate the halls here. All that aside, my name is Scotty Driggers. And yours is? Wait, have we met before?”

The girl was certainly unimpressed and growing more agitated by the second. “Unfortunately, we have. But I believe at that time your name was Bradley and you were a college student at Margrave University. Or wait, was it the time before when I thought your name was Anthony and you were in town visiting family? How about you go fuck yourself, whoever you are.” With that the girl angrily stomped past him with a slight shove.

“Well, that’s starting to look more and more likely.” The now alone Scotty mumbled to himself.

Fiona tried to take in all of the scenery, the culture, the peculiar accents and especially the strange new students that surrounded her but found it quite difficult while being literally dragged through the crowd by Chelsea. Chelsea of course didn’t seem to have a worry in the world as continued her peppy chatter to the helpless blonde girl.

“How great is it that we’ve already found an amazing group of friends on the first day?! You, me, and Alicia are going to have so much fun this year! All of the girls’ nights, and pedicures and talking about boys. …And speaking of boys, we sure lucked out in that department. Any of them on your radar yet? Other than Alex of course. I mean you could like Alex, who wouldn’t? Pretend I didn’t mention that last part.” Chelsea finally stopped talking as Fiona attempted to first process the overload of information and then found herself contemplating how to answer the redhead’s question. She had to admit that they were all attractive and seemed to each have their own style. She figured none of the four would have much trouble getting dates. She also wasn’t sure how much she wanted to divulge with this chatterbox of a girl that she had just met. Luckily, she was saved from answering by the bell ringing. She just gave Chelsea a small smile and a wave as she made her way into class. Everything was happening so fast for her in this new place and the first day hadn’t even officially started yet.

Drew was currently high fiving and shaking hands with all of his basketball and baseball teammates while also smiling and joking with many attractive girls, some of which he has met before and others that he’s certainly looking forward to. This still didn’t clear his mind of the one particular new girl that he may have just blown his shot with. He recoiled a bit at the bitter exchange he’d just had with Alicia and how he couldn’t really remember any other time that she’d reacted like that. He figured it was something that would work itself out over time. The Fiona situation on the other hand would likely take a little more effort and precise planning. Drew smiled when he happened to look up and see just the right friend to help him with that. Waving at Drew with a large smile, was his biggest on field supporter, Blake Tompsen.

How's the first day going for everyone else?
