Reports over the globe note this glow coming from the ancient temples and ruins that were emitting the strange energy dubbed Magic seems to be responding to the-!” She said she was about to continue when she looked up, past the camera. Melinda heard shouting she looked up and saw the silo was glowing.

Halle didn’t know how it started, but the radioactive material below was starting to emit a bright glow. The Director had seen it, “Everyone! Get inside now!” he shouted the camera crew went to recover the camera’s while the other’s began to ran back into the plant. Halle was about to join them when she heard a shriek she turned to see her co-worker was scrabbling to grab the railing as the platform she had been on suddenly dropped. Halle ran to her to grab her, pulling her up Halle saw the glowing material getting brighter.

Melinda saw the whole thing and she went to the radiation detection room where the crew was being scanned. While they were being scanned Melinda looked to Halle, and then noticed that Halle’s body… was emitting a glow as well. “What on-!?” she began then she heard the newswoman and turned her gaze to her phone.

The newswoman was panicked, “Ladies and Gentlemen there has been a report, nuclear power plants are now producing high levels of radiation, it’s possible a nuclear meltdown is occurring on a global scale, if you live near a nuclear power plant we recommend you flee the area, immediately!” she said. “Wait a minute.” she said, “I’m being told that there’s an update on the meteor pieces!” she said and the image faded to a reporter who was standing at least 50 feet from the meteor piece it was emitting a bright glow of such intensity it was blinding..

The reporter spoke, “Kate I’m here at the meteor crash site and it seems to be building up to something but we don’t-” She was about to speak when suddenly the meteor seemed to explode. The camera went to static, Melinda looked up to see Halle pulling her fellow actress up and onto the platform the two went for the scanning room. It opened first on the inside letting the scanned crew inside the viewing room, that door closed and the door to the silo began to open slowly, suddenly a wave of energy penetrated through the walls, Melinda could see it a wave of green energy heading for her In that instant the other actress was waiting for the door and Halle was behind her when the wave hit the crew it passed them and went through the doors hitting Alice. "I found her!" The camera turned and showed a large man running toward them with the reporter in his arms. “She’s **** but doesn’t appear injured but uh… she’s quite heavy so can I put her do-?” The image went back to the newswoman.

She looked more calm now, “Ladies and gentlemen, despite the seeming explosion from the meteor pieces they did not in fact explode but rather they all seemed to generate a strange energy wave that spanned the globe, scientists are looking into what this means exactly.” then came the commercial break.

Melinda watched as Halle groaned then she sat up and rubbed her head, “What the hell happened?” Halle asked.

Melinda reached for her phone grabbing it and pulling it up to see the commercial, “Apparently the meteor pieces were glowing with energy, when that happened the silo’s left over radiation waste, started glowing too and supposedly all the temples too.” she helped Halle up and to her chair as Halle sat engineering crew in anti-radiation suits came talking with the camera and set up crew while others were in the silo examining the radiation.

Halle watched as the man in the silo walked through the doors and walked up to his comrades, “Something’s weird…” he said.

One of the other men in suit gave a wry laugh, “You mean weirder than what happened to most forms of radiation the past few months?” he said. Halle was curious she stood up and walked towards them.

They turned to her and seemed to double take, she seemed… bigger somehow? Maybe they were imagining it, “What do you mean? What happened to radiation the past few months?” She asked.

They looked at each other, “Well the details are kinda heavy but basically this, for some reason after the meteor pieces landed most forms of radiation became stronger all over… however the usual negative effects of said radiation just… seemed to vanish. The radiation was still there but it just wasn’t negatively affecting people's lives anymore.” said the man in the suit.

The guy that came from the silo held up his geiger counter, “And now it get’s even weirder! There’s no radiation at all in the silo!” he said.

They turned to him, “What? Impossible don’t you see that glow? That thing is practically putting a glow bright enough to be seen in sunset! It has to be pouring out radiation like crazy question is, if it’s now harmful or harmless.” said the other suit wearing engineer. The door was wide open and Halle felt… a strange tingling on her skin.

A second suited man came out from the silo door, “He’s right, we’re getting no radiation whatsoever from it. Whatever is down there it’s not radioactive.” Now of course that wasn’t true, but they wouldn’t realize this till later on.

The director walked up, “So we can keep filming?” he asked.

The engineers sighed then went to talk to each other privately, as they talked Halle shifted slightly, her clothes were starting to feel tight… they were tight before but now it was causing her to itch especially down below it felt very tight. After about a minute of arguing they finally walked to the director, “You can but we’ll be here just incase something else happens.” said the head engineer. Some of the crew noticed the creaking and some even saw something… was different but they couldn’t quite put it. One spoke "Did you really need to do that?" He asked, a glare was answer enough, "Fine but you better take the others phones too." With that they made their way back.

-30 minutes later-

Melinda had deleted the footage from the phones that she had found and was able to be quick enough to stop the posts from going online. Halle sat in the corner her body mostly hidden under a tarp. "Ok so after that wave from the meteor pieces Halle started growing… but only she was affected by it… at least that's what we thought…" said the director he turned to Alice who was in a dark corner she walked out to show her top which was pushed out by larger breasts and a bulge near her groin.

But an engineer's eyes widened "Not the reactor! Radiation!" He said.

But another shook his head, "If that were the case, technically she'd still be growing, technically we human beings emit radiation as well." He pointed out.

But his colleague shook his head, "She might have already absorbed our radiation that or it must be a strong active source." He looked around "There a microwave here?" He asked.

Melinda pointed "Yeah in the break room." He left to get it after a few minutes he returned holding in his arms and dragging an extension cord.

He looked at his friends then at Halle, "Ms. Berry will you let us test." She nodded he opened the microwave and his colleague inputted a 30 second time and it turned on. It hummed loudly and when it did Halle's body began to glow she gasped as she felt herself grow they quickly turned it off. "Hypothesis confirmed," he turned to Melinda "Listen we need to talk to the Department of Scientific and Industrial research they have been following the effects of the meteors since the beginning we'll need to notify them to tell those affected by the wave to not go near active radioactive sources." Melinda handed him a phone and he called them. After several rings he spoke "Greg Hill, authentication code 6384781," silence "Barney listen we have an individual affected by the wave listen you mu- what? No her growth is caused by radiation… yes… yes I'm sure! Why wou-" a long pause and his expression turned to shock he lowered the phone. "Radiation isn't the sole source of growth!" He informed.

Halle finally spoke "What?" She asked.

He put the phone back to his ears, "Hang on Barney I'll call you back." He hung up the phone. "Ok you aren't the only case so far every woman who we know that has touched a fragment has experienced slow but definite full body growth. However you're the only case from radiation." He explained.

There was silence "What are the causes?" Halle asked.

The engineer sighed "They haven't confirmed all of them but most have been from being close proximity to the old ruins and temples. Apparently one case was reported in a concert apparently there's a live video feed before the concert was canceled. Look up Miley Cyrus' concert apparently she was twerking when it really started." He said there was a few snorts of laughter. Melinda grabbed her phone and searched she found it instantly it was on Instagram and getting hits like crazy. Melinda suddenly staggered as all the people crowded around her while Halle leaned in to look. The view showed Miley Cyrus she was walking about the music was off.

Halle sighed "Kids these days are vain enough to get a fragment before they hit their 30's." She said a few of the crew nodded in agreement.

Suddenly the camera was shaken a few times and a female voice said, "Hey, I gotta go to the bathroom that wave that hit me is making me feel funny." There was a slight "Sure I'll be here." Said the owner of the phone.

Miley then walked up "Ya know that fragment might've given me this!" She pointed to her groin where a definite bulge was, "but it also gave this!"
