Hall Pass

Hermione Granger knew she was being buried in red tape by her superiors in the Ministry, especially in matters that would shake the magical world such as improving life for minorities such as House Elves and other sentient magical creatures.

Ancient Laws passed centuries ago to prevent their rise in status now serve as a hinderance that prevents the Muggleborn witch from completing her objective.

Laws that could not simply be repealed without a majority vote by the ruling powers of Magical Britain during the monthly gathering. Gatherings Hermione obviously was unable to attend but her friend Harry certainly was, and he used his influence and name to grease the wheels if you will. Enough for Hermione to get some of her plans enacted as a member of the Department of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

She wanted to revolutionize the Magical World, not leave it in the Medieval Stasis generations have lived through in the last few centuries.

Yet despite everything else there was a certain longing Hermione held to go wild like so many of her fellow classmates. To go to clubs, get drunk, sleep with a few men and even women, but most importantly release her inner sexual urges.

That’s the funny thing about being the Brightest Witch- everything centered around her being the smartest and most capable member of the student body. So much so that it was widely agreed that Harry and Ron would have died in their First Year without Hermione Granger there to watch their asses. And while that was certainly true Hermione couldn’t sneak away to snog a boy like her best friend Ginny or even roam the halls naked like Luna Lovegood when she thinks no one is watching.

She certainly couldn’t explore her sexual interests like Lavender Brown or even sneak around like Tonks did while she was in school.

It was infuriating especially when she has such an amazing boyfriend as Ron Weasley, but the sad fact is he was very vanilla. Growing up as the youngest son certainly did not do the poor boy any favors in the love making department and now the man had gone off for a year to help his brother expand their joke shop. But before he did Ron gave Hermione Granger a wonderful gift without even realizing it. The gift is a Hall Pass, the ability to sleep with anyone and experiment, however she liked without getting into trouble with him.

No doubt he believed Hermione would never use it but after a rather terrible night together before he left Hermione sat at her office wondering what she should try.

She had spent years researching what she might like, what turned her on and while Ron was able to perform one or two of interests the rest were beyond her scope. So now she is left with an opening to experiment. The only question is what she should do?
