Had drained the pool

Yuki jumped over the fence and fell into the pool. She should have made a splash, but instead she fell through air and rolled down the hard pool floor.

Her friends watched her from behind the fence. "Hey, Yuki, are you alright?" Jane asked, biting back a laugh.

"Besides my bruised knees, elbows, and dignity, I'm just peachy," she growled. "Why didn't you tell me they drained the pool?"

"I didn't know."

"Yeah, well screw this. I'm getting out of here."

"You're not getting your clothes back, though," Jane said. "I said that you had to swim across and back first."

"Fine!" she yelled, more loudly than she should have if she wanted to not be noticed. She ran across the pool from one side to the other and back again. "There. I'm done."

"I said swim, not run," Jane said.

"Are you blind?" Yuki hissed. "I can't swim! There's no water in this pool!"

"I can see that," Jane said thoughtfully. "Ask them when they're going to refill it."

"Are you crazy? What, do you think I can just knock and their door and have a friendly chat with them about their pool in my birthday suit?"

"There's no reason why you can't," Jane replied. "Besides, it will be fun. Haven't you ever wanted to answer the door for the pizza guy or someone naked? This is like that, only in reverse."

Yuki had never wanted to answer the door for anyone naked, but unless she wanted to spend the night without any clothes, she would have to cooperate. She climbed out of the pool, went around to the front door, and rang the doorbell. Her friends watched her from across the fence, and she was certain that she heard one of them giggle.

A sixteen year old boy with glasses answered the door. "Hello, what can I--whoa!"

Yuki was too busy thinking about her friends to pay attention to the door when it opened. She quickly threw her arms across her breasts and crotch before she gave him any more of a full frontal. "Um, yes," she said, blushing furiously. "I need to know when you're going to refill your pool."

"Uh, wha?" He seemed completely dumbfounded. "My...pool? I have a pool?"

"Yes! When are you going to refill it?"

"Uh, I don't know. Hey Dad?" he called, not taking his eyes off of Yuki's body. "When's the pool going to be refilled?"

"Not for another three months," his dad replied, stepping into the hallway. "Why do you want to--sweet mother of--"

"Okaythankyougoodbye!" she said, turning and darting behind the fence to her friends as quickly as she could.

The boy and his dad stuck their heads out the doorway and watched her go. "Is she a friend of yours?" the dad asked.

"I don't know, but I hope so," the boy replied.

"There," Yuki said behind the fence. "Now I'm done."

"See, Yuki?" Jane laughed. "That wasn't nearly as bad as you thought it would be, now was it?"

"Jane, I could have fed my arms and legs to a shark and it wouldn't be as bad as I thought it would be."

"Oh, don't be so dramatic, you had fun."

"I'll be less dramatic when I get my clothes back!"

"Oh, right, you still need to earn them, don't you?"

"Earn them? What do you think that whole sack of nonsense was about?"

"I told you to go swimming in the neighbor's pool, and you didn't."

"I couldn't! That's why I knocked on their door!"

"Because I wanted to know when they'd have the pool back. I never said anything about giving you your clothes for it."

"But I--you--what?" Yuki spluttered.

"I guess we'll just have to find something else for you to do."
