Gwen Poole, New Intern (and Undercover Hero)

The young woman stood back up, her papers once again in hand, and turn to speak to Lois. However, she made a small gasp once she saw her. "Uh, you won't happen to be Lois Lane, would you?," she asked nervously.

"Afraid so," Lois replied with a small smirk on her face. "And you are?"

The young lady immediately straighten up, offering her hand to shake and saying, "Gwendolyn Poo-Potts, Gwendolyn Potts, I'm a new intern here!"

Lois shakes the girl's hand, chuckling as she replies, "Nice to meet you, kid. Now, if I were you, I'd get going. Wouldn't want to be late on your first day, right?"

"Right, Nice meeting you," Gwendolyn quickly said before running to the elevator. Lois watched her go in amusement before taking the next elevator.

As she stepped onto the fifth floor, she observed the people working and walking around the office. Looks like it's gonna be a busy day, Lois thought to herself. As if to confirm that, she is quickly approached by the new Publisher for the Daily Planet, Izzy Izquierdo.

"Good Morning, Lois," she said, "You're just in time. I've got a favor to ask of you."

Lois raised her eyebrow, replying "Okay? What do you need?"

Izzy continued, "Well, we have a few new interns coming in today, and it turns out that the reporter who was supposed to show them the ropes bailed at the last second, so I was hoping you might-"

“Nope,” Lois interrupted, “Sorry, Izzy, but I don't work with interns.”

“Please, everyone else has their hands full,” Izzy replied.

Lois thought it over and said, “Fine. Just this once, okay”

“Thanks, Lois,” Izzy replied, leading her to her office.

Stepping inside, Lois quickly spotted the three interns talking among themselves. Of course, Gwendolyn was among them, and awkwardly waved at Lois as soon as she saw her.

Lois sighed, thinking to herself "Just for today." Since she already met one, she decides to check out the other two interns first...
