Greg has a Visitor.

About Four hours after his failed attempt to get the gloves, conciseness slowly returned to Greg.

He noticed that it was very nearly night time outside, then he heard a knock on the door.

" Are...are you awake?" His mom asked behind the door.

" Y...yeah" he said sitting up slowly.

His mom rushed in and worriedly looked him over.

" oh my gosh I'm so sorry for earlier! I...i didn’t mean to knock you out" she said quckly.

" It...it's ok...I'm alright...c..can i have those gloves back now?" He asked, trying his best not to sound nervous.

" Oh...umm...I'm really sorry but i can't, Kate gave them to me and since you couldn't win against me, I'm afraid they are mine now..." Suzie said.

" But don't worry, i wont tell anyone about how you were...well...knocked out today...it will be our secret" She said.

Greg nodded but realised how dangerous it actually was for her to keep the gloves, what happned if she wanted to challenge him again in the future? She couldn't just keep knocking him stupid, and what if the next one was around his whole family or friends? His aunt was one thing, she was a professional boxer ( hence why he had the gloves in the first place) but his mom wasn't, he really would be a laughing stick then.

he simply nodded and said " I understand"

" great, well...I'll see you tomorrow Greg, get some rest" she said, and quickly left.

As suzie got back to her room an unusual feeling of absolute power suddenly came over her, she had knocked her son silly and claimed brand new gloves! She should.... celebrate! She saw a full unopened bottle of wine on her bedside table she went downstairs, passing her sister who had her own bottle of ****, grabbed a glass, and headed back upstairs.

Greg heard the bottle being uncorked and decided to wait a couple of hours for the **** to take affect, after which, he'd take those dammed gloves back.
