“Yeah, Greenport sounds amazing! What should I know about this trip?”

“I’m gonna be honest, I must’ve been blacked out when I signed up for this lottery, cause I don’t remember anything. All I’ve got is this email reminder. Let me pull it up real quick.”

You hear Andrea’s nails tapping on her end of the phone, presumably opening the email.

“Alright, just skimming through real quick, we’ve got a deluxe room close to the port itself, a cab to travel to and from Greenport in, access to exclusive clubs and a private beach, and a spending allowance at a local shopping court. Pretty nice.”

“That’s it? They’re giving all this away? I don’t believe it,” you said, waiting to hear the catch.

“Believe it Jack. The only thing I can find is that we’d be required to test out some company’s products while we’re there, but that just sounds like more free stuff. Should I call for the cab to pick us up now?”

It almost sounded too good to be true, but it was also too good to pass up. “Yeah, why not. Pick up at your place?”

“Sure thing, see you soon!”

You pulled up and into the parking lot of Andrea’s apartment. You saw her waiting on a bench next to the door, where she was waving to you. You parked your car and walked over to her. It had been a while since you’d seen Andrea, what with everything else taking over your life. As you got closer, you got to see her better.
