Graysons' In Trouble
After getting changed into their bikinis, Phoebe and Lexi headed out to Redwater Beach in the Fairshadow Bay area of the city where Tommy and Caleb along with Isabel Caine, Tommy's girlfriend, were already settled on the beach on deck chairs.
Introducing Phoebe to Isabel who had long tousled brown hair, dark-green eyes with large breasts and a curvy ass, Phoebe couldn't help but look over at Caleb who clearly couldn't help but take glances at Phoebe in the skimpy bikini which made Lexi grin at her cousin.
"See something you like, Caleb?" Phoebe asked, ignoring her cousin.
"Just admiring the view," Caleb said, leaning back in his deck chair.
Phoebe joined Caleb in the deck chair next to him while Tommy dragged Isabel to the sea, splashing her with the water, whilst Lexi also sat herself down in a deck chair, sunglasses covering her eyes as she decided to tan in the scorching hot sun.
"So," Phoebe said, looking over at Caleb. "How’s the jaw feeling?"
"Worth it." Caleb rubbed his bruised chin.
"For a punch in the face?" Phoebe snorted. "You’re dumber than you look."
"No," Caleb said with a smile. "For the nurse who patched me up."
"Don't get used to it," Phoebe said, brushing her hair over her shoulder.
"Hey, stop eye-fucking Caleb and help us set up the net." Isabel called out as she and Tommy joined them once again, picking up a volleyball with their stuff. "Since the princess over there is too busy tanning, we can do two on two."
"I'm not eye fucking you," Phoebe softly said whilst looking over at Caleb.
"Trust me, I don't mind," Caleb grinned. "Wanna play?"
"You're gonna lose," Phoebe warned as she got up and rushed over to Tommy and Isabel.
Caleb got up after her and after setting up the net, the volleyball match dissolved into chaos within minutes with Caleb accidentally brushing against Phoebe each time she went to serve and the game turning very competitive with Isabel and Tommy and Caleb all trying to spike the ball at the other.
"You play dirty," Phoebe panted as she and Caleb returned back to the deck chairs once the four decided to end the game.
"I saw you throw a few dirty moves yourself," Caleb countered. "That last serve? Pure sabotage. How are you so good?"
"Lexi and I used to play all the time when I used to visit Redwater. She's a sore loser." Phoebe smirked. "You're not bad either."
"Well, my dad was a boxer but he's quite the sports guy," Caleb added. "Taught me everything from volleyball to basketball to boxing. Basically tried to pass his dreams down, I guess, probably because his ended early," Caleb paused before clarifying. "He broke a bone or something. Permanent damage which was a shame cos he could have been the next Jason Prince or something."
"Sounds like you admire him," Phoebe noticed.
"Is it that obvious?" Caleb grinned. "Me and my Mom. We clash a lot. Like a lot. But Dad?" Caleb looked over at Phoebe. "Guy’s the only reason I didn’t turn into a total disaster."
"I don't know, last night suggests you're still halfway to disaster," Phoebe teased.
"You could be right about that?" Caleb laughed before shaking his head. "What about you? Are you and your dad close?"
"Yeah, so close that he's not even noticed I stole his Mustang yet." Phoebe sarcastically responded.
"Seriously? Didn't have you pegged as a grand theft auto kind of girl." Caleb snorted. "He must be pissed,"
"Would be," Phoebe admitted. "Like I said, he had to notice it was gone first. My dad's been in and out of my life for a while. Mostly out."
"When was the last time you saw him?" Caleb wondered.
"Three years, two months and…" Phoebe sighed. "Too long."
"Shit, Phoebe. I didn’t…" Caleb quickly said.
"Don’t." Phoebe told him. "I’m not some sob story. He’s just… busy. I get it, his job…"
"Hey," Caleb reached out to take her hand into his. "You don’t have to explain shit to me."
"I know but it sounds like you've got the perfect dad and mine, don't get me wrong. Before he went all in and out he was always there and we had a decent relationship but... I don't know." Phoebe sighed. "All of a sudden he just… stopped showing up. Like, one day he used to come see my ballet performances and the next…" Phoebe paused. "Gone. Calls got shorter. Visits got rarer. Now? Radio silence."
"Hey," Caleb murmured. "Fuck him then. You got Lexi, Tommy, your mom, aunts, me. Who needs him?"
"You? I hardly know you." Phoebe scoffed.
"You know enough," Caleb countered. "And I feel like I know you. Like we got this connection. Maybe it's cos of Tommy and Lexie. It's like we’re old friends."
"Old friends don’t flirt this much." Phoebe laughed.
"You want me to stop?" Caleb asked.
"I didn’t say that." Phoebe quickly told him as she brought him closer.
"I won't then," Caleb grinned, causing Phoebe to roll her eyes as his free hand came up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"Good,” Phoebe said as she shifted closer on the deck chair and leaned in and pressed her lips to his, treating Caleb to a soft but passionate kiss that deepened with every passing moment.
Arriving at the Mirage Penthouse, Adrianna and Elsa stepped off the elevator into the penthouse where they found their half-brother, Ryan Grayson, a tall man with pale, white skin, black hair, hazel eyes and a lean, athletic-body taking a sip of whisky from the bottle at the bar.
"I thought you two would get here sooner," Ryan muttered.
"Well, you vanish for weeks dealing with Tommy's mess, then summon us here? Spit it out, Ryan. What's going on? What has Tommy gotten himself into?" Adrianna asked.
"Tommy's not the problem," Ryan admitted. "It's Xander McCraven."
"Xander McCraven? That sleazeball who hated Peter with a passion?" Elsa said in surprise.
"That's the one. Turns out he's been holding onto that grudge… the kind our brother thought he buried years ago." Ryan sighed. "Only now, Xander's calling them in... with interest. We spoke and he made his demands clear."
"What does he want?" Adrianna wondered.
"Xander wants two things," Ryan paced the penthouse. "First, access to Grayson Global's models. Specifically, for his new VIP lounge at that club of his. Thinks he can leverage Tommy and Caleb's mess into some twisted deal."
"He wants our family’s company to basically endorse his strip club?" Elsa said in disgust. "That man's delusional if he thinks we'd ever…"
"Wait," Adrianna interrupted. "What's the second demand?"
"The way he put it, Tommy and Caleb on their knees, apologising to him for humiliating him," Ryan spat. "But we all know what he really wants. A fucking spectacle. A Grayson groveling for his entertainment."
"That's ridiculous. Even if we let the Grayson Global bit slide and you and Alice managed to convince Tommy to apologise," Elsa commented. "Caleb will never go for it. He's too proud to just bend in line and apologise. Especially to someone like Xander. He's like Peter like that,"
"I'll say," Ryan nodded before noticing Elsa and Adrianna exchange a quick glance upon Elsa’s mention of Peter. "Wait, what am I missing?"
"Ryan..." Adrianna started before looking back at Elsa. "Tell him."
"Caleb's not Patrick's son." Elsa softly revealed.
"Excuse me?" Ryan said, confused. "Since when?"
"Since conception," Elsa muttered. "Demi got pregnant during that undercover operation eighteen years ago, the one where she worked with Peter."
"Peter." Ryan said in realisation. "Peter's Caleb's father? Does he know? Does Caleb?"
"No," Adrianna interrupted. "Demi swore Elsa to secrecy. Patrick raised Caleb as his own."
"Fuck. Peter's got a kid he doesn't even know about?" Ryan laughed. "And now that kid and my son, technically his cousin have gotten themselves tangled up with Xander fucking McCraven. The Grayson family drama continues."
"That's not all. Phoebe's in town," Adrianna added. "She and Caleb were practically eye-fucking at Angel last night before Elsa went full nuclear on them."
"Phoebe Westwood?" Ryan stopped laughing. "Peter’s daughter is here? And was flirting with Caleb? Let me guess, neither of them has any idea they’re half-siblings? And I thought my kid's mess was complicated." Ryan sighed and shook his head. "So, what? We’re just supposed to keep this from Peter? From Caleb? From Phoebe?"
"It's what Demi wants," Elsa informed him. "And right now, we have bigger problems than that. Caleb won't follow Xander's demands. He's got Peter's stubbornness in spades and if Xander ever found out Caleb was Peter's kid…"
"Xander wouldn't just settle for an apology," Ryan realised.
"Which is why we should call Peter," Adrianna told the pair.
"Call Peter?" Ryan laughed. "What’s your genius plan, AC? Hey Peter, remember that undercover job with Demi? Surprise, you’ve got a son. Oh and he might accidentally bang your daughter? Also he might have pissed off your rival?"
"Like I've been saying," Elsa agreed with Ryan. "Calling Peter will only complicate things."
"Elsa's right, AC. We can't tell him. At least right now." Ryan nodded in agreement. "But we can deal with Xander ourselves."
