Who is home?
Grace, working holiday maker
creak
Hi, my name is Grace, and I'm a 26yr old Asian woman travelling Australia on a working holiday visa with my brother
creak
It's going pretty well, I've been to a lot of fun places and met a lot of cool people
creak
Well, it was going well. Not too long ago my brother and I sorta ran out of money while we were in a small resort town and we got kicked out of the house we were staying in
creak
And I really mean kicked! I swear I can still feel the boot hitting my ass as I fell out the door
creak
It's okay though! A friend I made who's also on a working holiday visa has a local "friend" with his own place, and she said maybe he'd rent me a room for cheap if she asked him really nicely
creak
She later told me she managed to convince him, although she said it made her jaw hurt, whatever that means
creak
I set up a meeting with him and he said as long as we do all the cleaning in his house, he'll only charge us $100 a week to stay. That's only $50 per person! It was $250 per person per week at my last house, and all I have to do is be someone's maid!? Amazing
creak
But, sigh, obviously you can tell by the sounds of my underwear slowly creaking away as I hang in this butt destroying hanging wedgie, it was a little too good to be true. What I thought was a chill place to spend a bit of time turned out to be a bit of a nightmare, as I was put through forms of bullying that were horrors beyond the comprehension of even me in my most nerdy and bullyable high school days
creeeeeak
And, let me tell you, as a short, skinny, kinda flat lossless virgin girl with huge glasses who loves anime, I was very bullyable
creeeeeeeeaaaaaak
So, to pass the time while I wait for the two pairs of underwear he put me in to snap, how's about I tell you all about the things that've happened while I've lived here?
