Gotta Get Down On… What?

Friday came quicker than I possibly could have expected.

It didn’t exactly help that the aftermath of winning a case as big as that one can be quite… eventful to say the least. A ton of paperwork and final litigations between me and my client, and not to mention Autumn wanting to have a little bit of fun to celebrate the not-so-small paycheck that I had coming my way.

In short: this week was very fun but also very eventful. You know the old saying… time flies? Well, it definitely flew, and landed me right smack dab in the middle of New York City, standing outside a building that I had hoped and prayed that I would never have to see again. My eyes stared up at the giant grey monolith with a loathing that I couldn’t describe. Most people would walk by this building with no issue, but me? Every time I saw this place it made my skin crawl.

It’s not exactly like I wanted to fucking be here. If it were up to me I’d be back at my apartment with Autumn and confidently fucking her brains out in ways that I haven’t been able to pull off in weeks! But every time I close my eyes I see those pictures I was shown in the court house and, though I know that body doesn’t look like me, with only a little convincing I’m sure the general public would believe it, given the work this company has pulled off.

I took a quick breath and then pushed myself in the building, briefcase in hand, suit pressed, and head held high, just the same as I did on that fateful day. Today would be different though, I wasn’t here to fight, or serve, I am here to talk to a company about a potential opportunity for my firm to represent them. Nothing wrong with that, right? My plan was for me to leave this place with my dignity and my pride in tact. Today’s experience would be much different than my last!

And as I stepped off the elevator, immediately things were different. The lobby was the same weird pink hue with videos and images of their clientele on the wall… one of which I am sure I saw a very familiar rack on but it flashed away before I got a good look. Elevator type music filled the air blissfully, almost hypnotic in its calmness, adding to the more professional atmosphere to this very lewd place. Much was the same, except for one detail. I was expecting the same greeting I had previously, with a half naked woman sitting behind the front desk, tits out, and a weird sense of confidence. Today? There was no such woman.

Instead I was greeted by the professional, yet smug, smile of Mr. Phoenix who greeted me in the empty lobby, hand out for me to shake which I quickly accepted in a firm grasp. He gave me a look of confidence as I approached, but he looked more like a potential business partner than a blackmailer in this moment.

“Glad you could make it Mr. Lee.” Musa says with a smile, his tone matching the professional atmosphere of the situation, though his eyes still stared at me with a hunger that was kind of off putting.

“It’s not like you all gave me much of a choice.” I say, though my words seemed helpless my tone of voice said anything but. There was a bass-ey power there that radiated in the room, showing I was not in the mood for bullshit. “Though I will be honest, I expected to see Mr. Mancini in this welcome party.” I continued.

“Mr. Mancini is in a meeting at the moment, not unlike the one you may have experienced in the past.” Musa smirks and lets out a very quick chuckle, as he picks up a manilla folder from the desk and hands it to me, as well as a red and blue pill inside of a plastic ziplock baggie.

“That… isn’t X-Change.” I say as I examine the pill in the bag, before putting it to the side and starting to open up the file, and my eyes go wide at the sight of what was inside.

“Correct, Mr. Lee.” Musa says with a sigh as he glances over my shoulder down at the pictures. “Let me tell you about a brand new company… SWP.”
