Good and bad news

The captain drops anchor and walks up to you, "We're here, ma'am, however there's no place for the ship to dock from what it looks like. The water level is too low at the moment and the sharp rocks are poking out of the water. You'll have to take one of our paddle boats over there. Be careful not to scratch the bottom of the boat, because you will sink and of course be paying me for the boat." he laughs and leads you over to the smaller boat, it could fit about three people if needed. You thank him for his help and he tells you he'll return in one week. He helps you into the boat and the men lower you and your items down into the water. You have never used one of these before so this could get tricky.
