Golems
(A few minutes earlier)
Draco’s grin widened, his sharp teeth gleaming even in the dimg light. "Just let me get to my companions," he muttered
The stone golems began to move, each one shifting with a grinding, menacing rhythm.
Their hulking frames, carved with jagged edges and glowing veins of molten energy, turned toward him in unison.
Draco's eyes darted between them, counting three of the constructs as they encircled him, their stone fists raised and ready to crush. " three against one?"
The first golem lunged, its fist crashing down toward Draco like a falling boulder.
Draco darted to the side with inhuman speed, the blow missing him by mere inches and shattering the ground where he had stood.
Jagged fragments of stone flew outward, but he barely flinched, his focus razor-sharp.
He sneered at the attack, his hand igniting with bright flames.
With a swift upward slash, Draco’s fist struck the golem’s arm with devastating ****.
The impact shattered the stone limb entirely, sending jagged fragments clattering to the ground.
The molten cracks in the broken pieces glowed faintly before fading into lifeless rock.
Draco stepped back slightly, his smirk growing as he watched the now-crippled golem stagger, its glowing eyes flickering erratically.
"How strange," he mused to himself, curiosity mingling with satisfaction "They have impressive offensive power but almost no defense. Expecenly to physical attacks, it seems."
The damaged golem teetered, momentarily disoriented, but the reprieve was short-lived.
The other two golems moved in unison, their forms grinding forward with an screach that filled the cavern.
In perfect coordination, the two golems’ massive fists barreled toward Draco, their combined power unstoppable.
He barely had time to react; the **** of their synchronized **** was as swift as it was brutal.
On pure instinct, Draco crossed his arms in front of him.
The combined blow struck with a deafening boom, the air around them rippling with the sheer **** of the impact.
Draco’s body was launched backward like a projectile, slamming into the unforgiving stone wall of the labyrinth. T
The wall cracked under the ****, web-like fissures spreading outward from the point of impact.
Draco’s back sunk slightly into the stone, his body momentarily embedded in the wall.
A thick cloud of dust erupted around him, enveloping the corridor in a **** haze that obscured him from view.
The golems stood motionless for a moment, their glowing eyes fixed on the cloud of dust as if waiting to confirm their victory.
From within the swirling cloud of dust, a faint orange glow began to pierce through the haze, flickering like a heartbeat.
The light grew stronger with each passing moment, pulsating with an almost primal intensity.
A massive torrent of flames erupted from the heart of the dust cloud, spiraling outward like a living beast.
The inferno surged through the corridor, its heat scorching the very air, illuminating an small preasure plate on the floor.
The **** of the blasthit the golem in the middele, frocing him away for several meters and sent the other golems stumbling back.
The flames illuminated the entire space, casting eerie, flickering shadows against the walls.
The once-dim labyrinth now burned with an unrelenting brilliance, the temperature rising dramatically as the stone walls began to radiate heat.
The golems, though sturdy, were not impervious. The flames licked at their surfaces, causing cracks to form along their arms and torsos.
As the flames subsided, the dust cloud was swept away, revealing Draco standing at the epicenter of the devastation.
His chest heaved with each breath, his body radiating power, even with his now brused arms.
Draco wasted no time with words. The roar of his flames still echoed in his ears, and his instincts screamed at him to press the advantage.
Without hesitation, he lunged forward, his body a blur of motion as he closed the distance between himself and the closest golem.
The golems, though staggered, were not defenseless.
One of them reacted swiftly, its glowing eyes locking onto Draco’s approach.
Its massive stone arm swung upward in a brutal arc, aiming to intercept him.
The golem’s other arm followed through with unrelenting precision, slamming into Draco’s side in a devastating liver shot.
The blow sent shockwaves through Draco’s body. Pain exploded in his abdomen, sharp and blinding, and he felt his knees buckle momentarily.
Blood spattered from his mouth, staining the ground beneath him.
Yet even as the taste of iron filled his mouth, he refused to back down.
With a defiant snarl, Draco surged forward, his determination burning as fiercely as the fire in his veins.
Instead of retreating, he rammed his head—hard as steel and enforced with fire—directly into the golem’s elbow.
The impact was bone-jarring, and the **** of the collision cracked the golem’s knuckles, sending shards of stone flying.
The sheer audacity of the move made the towering construct hesitate.
The stone golems wasted no time in retaliating.
The first, its remaining arm a jagged mass of stone, launched a powerful kick toward Draco’s chest,
while the second, the one that had lost a limb earlier, followed with a crushing fist aimed at his head. T
heir attacks came at him from both directions, leaving little room to dodge. But Draco, anticipating their moves, saw his chance.
In a fluid motion, he dropped to one knee, his claws digging into the cold, rocky floor.
He placed one arm on the ground, lifting his body into the air and holding a steady one-arm handstand.
The intense motion putting him at a strange angle, but it was just enough to allow the two golems' attacks to collide with each other.
The powerful kick from one golem slammed straight into the other’s fist, the sheer impact causing the two to stagger , both attacks missing Draco entirely.
“Fire magic!” Draco roared, his muscles tensing as the heat in his body flared, which was still in the air
Flames erupted from his feet, licking at the air like hungry serpents. His legs burned with power as he spoke the next words with finality. “Dragon’s Circlet!”
His body spun, a blur of motion, as his legs moved in separate arcs—each one aimed precisely at the heads of the two golems.
His right foot struck the golem on the left, sending it reeling, its head snapping back in a shower of flying debris.
His left foot hit the other golem’s head with a deafening crack, causing the stone to splinter under the **** of the impact.
The two golems stumbled backward, their heads damaged, their glowing eyes flickering as they struggled to regain their bearings.
Smoke and dust filled the air from Draco’s fiery kick.
The golemswere now clearly severely damaged.
Deep cracks spread across their bodies, each one growing wider with every passing moment.
The strain of their injuries became too much to bear, and with a final, shuddering groan, they succumbed to their fate.
The once-mighty creatures crumbled, their forms breaking apart and collapsing into piles of jagged stone and rubbl
Draco landed gracefully, his feet steady on the ground, the flames that had engulfed his body slowly dimming as the heat subsided.
The air was thick with the smell of burning stone and the acrid scent of sweat and blood.
He wiped the blood from his mouth with a casual flick of his hand, the taste of iron lingering as his chest heaved with exhaustion.
Despite the burn in his liver and the dizziness still clouding his mind from the blow, there was a satisfied grin creeping across his face.
His gaze fell on the last golem standing, the one that had taken the full brunt of his fire breath earlier.
It was now limping toward the remains of its comrades, its movements slow and deliberate, but there was something in the way it moved that told Draco it wasn’t out of the fight yet.
The golem dragged its stone limbs with a heavy rasp, the sounds of scraping rock echoing through the labyrinth.
Its form was battered, cracks running deep along its body, glowing faintly as the damage from Draco’s flames lingered.
Despite this, the creature still stood tall, its eyes fixed on Draco with an unyielding determination.
It reached out for the remains of the other golems, its arms stretching wide, and Draco could see the stones around its arms begin to stir.
Slowly, the pieces of shattered golems began to lift, almost as if they were responding to the golem’s call, moving toward it like an obedient swarm of rocks.
The sight was both eerie and impressive—stones coiling around the golem’s arms like tendrils, forming intricate, jagged shapes and begann to regenerated the broken Golem.
The stones didn’t just cling to the golem’s limbs; they seemed to meld with them, fusing into the shape of large, menacing scythes.
The blades gleamed in the dim light, their sharp edges reflecting the faint glow of the golem’s body.
Draco’s eyes narrowed, watching the golem’s every move, assessing the situation with a quick calculation.
This wasn’t just a simple stone brute anymore. With its new weapons, it had become something far more dangerous.
The golem took a calculated step forward. Its glowing eyes were locked onto Draco with an unwavering, predatory intensity.
Draco stood his ground, a confident smirk tugging at the corners of his lips
